HOW DO NEGOTIATIONS TYPICALLY PLAY OUT?

The steps on how negotiations play out vary immensely, but these are the general steps in which they occur:

A buyer makes an offer.

You either accept the offer, decline the offer, or send in a counteroffer at a higher price and/or with different terms and/or contingencies which, upon making these changes to the contract, you would agree to sell.
