AMIBENT RECORD

![]()

In collaboration with Ella von Finckenstein we designed a studio as a calm, minimal space for meditative and experimental music. Velvet textures introduce softness and comfort, while silver metal elements add reflection and a contemporary feel, supporting focus for both artists and guests.
The lighting concept follows the rhythm of the setting sun. The space begins with warm tones such as soft pinks and oranges and gradually transitions into deeper purples, blues, and lower light levels as evening approaches. Lighting is fully customizable, allowing the environment to adapt to the music being played, shifting from quiet and restrained to more immersive and sensory.
The seating pit and bar are designed as complementary spaces that can be experienced together or independently. Whether fully immersed or selectively engaged, the studio offers a flexible and comfortable environment that responds to sound, performance, and atmosphere as a unified whole.

RECEPTION DESK

Guests are invited to remove their shoes and change into complimentary slippers before enjoying the velvet listening pit. Lockers are also provided for personal items.

SOUND LOUNGE

In collaboration with Kaito Iijima, a senior at the High School of Art and Design, we developed a fluid, ambient-style logo that reflects the atmosphere of the record label. Guests can enjoy the music comfortably in robes and slippers provided for the listening pit.

I designed The Automatic Studio Film School for Kids, a 3,200 SF immersive learning environment dedicated to hands on filmmaking for children ages 6 to 16. The interior includes dedicated film stages, screening rooms, writing and brainstorming areas, sound and editing suites, storage, offices, restrooms, and a flexible event space with kitchen support. All spaces are designed to be highly adaptable, allowing rooms to shift seamlessly between teaching, production, and collaborative use.
The concept centers on Story Worlds, a design approach that invites children to step into an environment where every corner feels like a movie set coming to life. Bright accents, adaptable work zones, and interactive features encourage young filmmakers to explore different creative roles including writer, director, actor, designer, or editor as they move through the filmmaking process. Balancing imagination with functionality, the space empowers creativity while providing the structure, tools, and professional atmosphere needed to bring ideas from script to screen.

The prop room is designed as a multipurpose environment where children can fully engage in the creative process. From designing, building, and styling costumes and props from start to finish.
The vanity area is intentionally inspired by professional film sets, reimagined at a child-friendly scale to make young creators feel like they are working on a real production.

The multipurpose room serves as a classroom, viewing area, birthday party space, film set, and collaborative hub for both children and staff. Designed with flexibility in mind, the space can be easily reconfigured to accommodate a wide range of activities and evolving program needs.
