Thank you for supporting Elk Grove Spotlight Theatre’s production of Legally Blonde Jr! This production includes the largest children’s cast of any production I have been a part of here at Spotlight Theatre! I am so proud of all the hard work each cast member has put in to make this show a success. Watching all of these kids grow as artists is such a gift!

Teagan Antol (Age 6, Rising Star) This is Teagan’s first-ever show. She is in first grade at Link school. She loves singing, gymnastics and riding her bike whenever she gets the chance.
Olivia Bartels (Age 7, Rising Star) Olivia is seven and attends Nerge Elementary School as a first grader. This is Olivia’s first show and she is so excited to be a part of the cast. In her free time, Olivia loves to dance, do gymnastics, sing and hang out with her friends. Olivia would like to thank her friends and family for coming to watch the performance and for all of their support.
Anna Booth (Age 6, Rising Star) Anna is six years old and is in first grade at Stevenson Elementary. This is Anna’s first show, and she is so excited to be part of the Rising Stars! In her free time, Anna loves to ride her bike, play with friends and craft. Anna would like to thank her family and friends for all of their love and support!
Amara Catlett (Age 11, Store Manager, Flight Attendant and Pforzheimer) Amara (Mara) is eleven years old and a sixth grader at Grove Junior High. This is her seventh show and her second with EGV. She is thrilled to be part of Legally Blonde, Jr. because she loves the music and the energy of the show. In the past, Amara has enjoyed roles such as Sparrow, the spunky sidekick in How (Not) to Be A Wizard. Her true passion is acting and singing — she feels her fellow performers are some of the most supportive and accepting people she knows! Outside of theater, Amara enjoys riding her bike, creating short films and spending time with her friends and cousins. She is extremely grateful for the encouragement of her family and friends and hopes you enjoy the show!
Kaylee Chavez (Age 9, Delta Nu, Inmate, Cashier/Nail Tech) Kaylee is so excited to be performing in another show with Spotlight Theatre! This is her thirteen show. Some of her favorite roles include the Lullaby League in Wizard of Oz, Young Anna in Frozen Kids, Sharonda in Elf, Jr., July in Annie and her most favorite to date was Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka Kids. When Kaylee is not performing on stage you can find her drawing, riding her bike or dancing at her mom’s ballroom dance studio with her awesome instructor Adrian. Kaylee’s favorite part about doing theatre, other than performing on stage, is having fun with her theatre friends and being able to share it with her mom (and Grandpa sometimes). She wants to thank all the directors for the opportunity to shine on stage and all their hard work and tell her friends and castmates to Break A Leg!!

Sia D’Andrea (Age 10, Stylist, Kate) Athanasia is thrilled to be in another production. This year she is playing Kate and the stylist. She loves playing basketball and softball!
Rory DeLong (Age 10, Chutney Wyndham) Rory is very excited to play Chutney! She was previously in the ensemble for Annie and Alice in Wonderland, Jr. as well as Santa’s Helper in Elf, Jr. Rory also loves drawing and reading when she’s not on stage. She would like to thank all her friends and family for showing up to support her and her theatre family! Enjoy the show!
Cristabella Espinal (Age 8, Margot) Cristabella is thrilled to be playing Margot in Legally Blonde, Jr. She is 8 years old and this is her third theatre performance. Outside of the theatre, Cristabella enjoys gymnastics, roller skating and making bracelets. Cristabella would like to thank all of her family for their love and support.
Gianna Francois (Age 9, Ensemble) Gianna is overjoyed to be in her third theatrical performance, it’s her true passion! When she is not on stage shining, she can be found dancing, playing softball and basketball, swimming, reading, drawing and spending time with her family and friends. At just 9 years old, there’s not much this fierce girl can’t do!
Anna Griffith (Age 6, Rising Star) Anna is 6 and in first grade at Nerge Elementary School. Anna has performed in dance recitals, but this is her first theatre show! In her free time she likes to dance, sing, swim, read and hang out with friends and family. Anna would like to thank everyone who came out to watch her debut theatrical performance!
Sylvia Hain (Age 12, Ensemble) Sylvia Hain is thrilled to be part of Legally Blonde, Jr.! This marks her sixth show with Spotlight Theater. She loves being part of the warm and welcoming community and is grateful for all the wonderful friends she has made along the way. Sylvia would like to thank the amazing directors for their support and encouragement. She truly has “all of this, plus intelligence!”

Thea Hain (Age 9, Pilar) Thea Hain is so excited to be a part of Legally Blonde, Jr.! She is especially grateful to the wonderful directors and to all her Delta Nu sisters for giving her such a fantastic experience. Thea loves being part of this theater company — especially the rehearsals, the dances and the songs. And, to her Delta Nu sisters, she’s “doing this for love.”
Mia Hernandez (Age 7, Rising Star) Mia is so excited to be returning to the stage as a Rising Star again this year! She previously appeared in Elf, Jr. in the same role. When she’s not lighting it up on stage, you can find her on the softball field, playing at the park, or spending time with her friends and family. Mia would like to thank her family for sharing her love of music and performing, the Amazing Eight Cousin Crew and send a special shout out to her cousin Aria who inspired her budding theater career.
Natalie Hoeft (Age 8, Inmate, Ensemble) Natalie is excited to take the stage as an inmate and ensemble member in this production. She previously performed in Matilda, Jr. and Elf, Jr., and is looking forward to another fun and memorable show. Outside of theater, Natalie enjoys singing, dancing, playing softball and hanging out with friends. She is grateful to her parents and everyone who came to cheer her on!
Taylor Hoeft (Age 10, Prison Guard, Inmate, Ensemble) Taylor is thrilled to be part of this production, playing both a prison guard and an inmate. She has loved being involved in the theater program over the past couple of years, with previous roles in Elf Jr. and Matilda, Jr.. Taylor enjoys singing, dancing and spending time with friends — especially while playing Roblox. She sends a big thank you to her mom, dad and all her friends and family for their support and for coming to see the show!
Luciana Houston (Age 6, Rising Star) Luciana is a six-year-old first grader at Link Elementary and this is in her first ever performance as a Rising Star! Luciana has wanted to be on stage since watching her older sister perform. Luciana loves to attend Girl Scouts, Book Club and running! She would like to thank her family and friends for coming to the show!
Lexi Kitzinger (Age 12, Ensemble) Lexi is so excited to be part of Legally Blonde, Jr. the Musical! Lexi has a background in music and theater. She was part of her church choir for three years, sang at her elementary school and in sixth grade choir. Lexi is so thankful to the theater directors, her fellow cast mates and everyone who is coming to see the play! Lexi is especially thankful to her family and friends for their support! Kaleah La (Age 10, Waitress, Flight Attendant) Kaleah is ten and is in fifth grade. This is Kaleah’s first year doing theater and definitely will not be her last! Kaleah has been singing and dancing ever since she was able to speak/walk. Kaleah has been in multiple dance recitals throughout the years and was also the star singer in her school’s previous talent show. Kaleah is in choir and loves music! She loves to act out voices and do funny accents. Kaleah would like to thank all her family and friends for coming out to watch her performance!
Eleonora Latrofa (Age 6, Rising Star) Eleonora is six-year-old first grader at Link Elementary. She has performed in multiple dance recitals and is so excited to be in her first musical! She loves to sing, dance, read and spend time with friends and family. Eleonora would love to thank everyone who came to cheer her on in her first theater show!
Ella Larkin (Age 13, Paulette) Ella (13) is an eighth grader at Grove Jr High. This is her tenth show. Her favorite roles have been in Wizard of Oz (Mayor of Munchkinland), Alice in Wonderland, Jr. (Mad Hatter), and Elf, Jr. (Walter Hobbs). Ella enjoys being a part of Spotlight Theater because she likes being with her friends and making people laugh. Off the stage, she enjoys playing volleyball and softball, reading and visiting new places. Ella would like to thank her friends and family for their love and support.
James Larkin (Age 10, Dewey, Lowell, Judge) James is ten and a fifth grader at Ridge Family Center for Learning. This is his eighth show. His favorite roles have been in Matilda, Jr. (Serge), Elf, Jr. (Buddy), and Little Mermaid, Jr. (Sebastian). James loves Spotlight Theater because the directors and cast members always put on great shows. Outside of theater, he likes to play baseball and basketball, watch TV, and ride his bike. James appreciates all of his friends and family for coming to the show!
Jade Lemus (Age 10, Ensemble) Jade is ten and is a fifth grader at Clearmont Elementary. This is her first time ever acting on a stage – though she’s been acting out her favorite movie scenes since she was a toddler! Her dream role is Glinda from Wicked. She loves reading, painting and making jewelry for her friends and family. Jade would like to thank all her friends and family that came to support her in her stage debut.
Grayson Lobo (Age 12, Winthrop, Kyle) Grayson is twelve years old and is a sixth grader in Plainfield, IL. He loves playing the trombone and singing in choir, and his favorite role was Young Will in Big Fish. Grayson also loves basketball and his favorite show is The Owl House.Thanks Mom for convincing me to do theatre, choir, and band. You are always right and you’re the best Mom ever!

Vivienne Lobo (Age 9, Brooke Wyndham) Vivienne is nine years old and she is in the fourth grade. Her favorite role is Brooke but she also loved playing Tessie in Annie. Vivienne loves gymnastics, art, and play dates with her besties. Vivienne would like to thank her Mother for spending countless hours driving to and from rehearsal and for always supporting her passions. Thanks to Dad for making the best home lunches and dinners.
Aria Mendez (Age 11, Kiki, Whitney) Aria is excited to play Kiki and Whitney in Legally Blonde, Jr.! This is her fifth Spotlight Theater show. Audiences may remember her as Jovie in Elf, Jr., the Acrobat in Matilda, Jr., a Featured Orphan in Annie, and from multiple roles in Big Fish. When she’s not on stage, Aria can be found playing softball, running cross country or hanging out with her family and friends. She wishes the cast and crew the best of luck for an amazing show!
Quinn Metcalf (Age 10, Emmett Forrest) Quinn is ten years old and is a fifth grader at Link Elementary. His previous roles include Michael Wormwood in Matilda Jr., Jacob in How (Not) to Be a Wizard, Michael Hobbs in Elf, Jr., Mr. Spots & N.M. Skull in Kid Frankenstein. Now in his fifth performance, Quinn couldn’t be happier to portray Emmett. He also keeps himself busy with Tae Kwon Do, flag football, basketball and baseball. Quinn is grateful to his family and friends for coming to the show.
Parker Middleton (Age 9, Enid Hoopes, Ensemble) Parker is in fourth grade and this is her sixth show! When Parker isn’t on stage she is playing softball, basketball or running but her heart belongs to theater and dance (ballet). She recently got her dad to join her on stage! She wants to thank all who support her on her theater journey!
Madison Monroe (Age 8, Ensemble) Madison is eight years old and goes to Rupley Elementary and is in third grade. This is Madison’s second show. Her favorite play so far was The Little Mermaid, Jr. Madison loves performing because she loves to sing and dance. When Madison is not performing she loves to play with her friends, create art and play softball. Her favorite food is pizza. Madison would like to thank her mom, friends and family for always supporting her.
Riley Mowinski (Age 13, Vivienne Kensington) Riley is thrilled to have the chance to play Vivienne in Legally Blonde Jr. She has been in fourteen productions with EGPD including The Little Mermaid, Jr. as Ursula, Annie as Pepper and Alice in Wonderland, Jr. as the Queen of Hearts. In her free time, Riley likes to play softball and the flute!! Lucy Mucha (Age 8, Serena, Inmate) OhMiGod, you guys, Lucy is thrilled to play Serena and be a sister of Delta Nu! Previously, Lucy performed in the ensemble of Annie and the Rising Stars of Matilda, Jr. She loves to sing and enjoys weekly voice lessons to improve her skills. When she’s not singing, she loves family time including playing with her dog, Fiona, reading books and baking. Lucy would like to thank her show directors, parents, sister and grandparents.
Olive Mullins (Age 13, Warner Huntington III) Olive is thirteen years old she has been in sixteen stage productions, some of olives favorite parts are Audrey in Descendants and Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda, Jr. Olive would like to thank everyone who put this show together and wants to thank her family members for coming!
Ava Navaid (Age 11, Bookish Client, Ensemble) Ava is eleven and is a sixth grader at Centennial Elementary. This is Ava’s third musical with prior roles including Gardenia Flower in Alice in Wonderland, Jr. and part of the Magic Lamp Ensemble in Aladdin, Jr. Musicals have brought out her passion for singing and dancing. When not performing, Ava enjoys writing and drawing. She would like to thank everyone who came out to watch the show!
Scarlett Osier (Age 9, Saleswoman, Prison Guard) Scarlett is an energetic and outgoing fourth grader thrilled to be performing in her fourth Spotlight Theatre production! Her favorite past role was Chadwick in Elf, Jr. Scarlett loves singing and dancing on stage and considers Spotlight her “home away from home.” Offstage, she enjoys playing piano, volleyball and basketball. Scarlett would like to wish her castmates a big “break a leg,” and to her family she says, “Oh my god, I love you guys!”
Bella Pruyn (Age 11, Ensemble) Isabella is a sixth grader at Grove Junior High. This is her second production with Spotlight Theater. Isabella loves singing, dancing, acting and playing sports. Isabella also loves to spend time with her family and friends. Isabella is grateful to everyone that has supported her and the theater by coming to her performances.
William Pruyn (Age 8, Bailiff, Ensemble) William is a third grader at Clearmont Elementary School. This is his first theater production. William loves sports, singing, dancing and making new friends. Insia Rizvi (Age 9, Ensemble) This is Insia’s first production here with the Spotlight Theatre of Elk Grove. We are happy to have her join our cast in this production on Legally Blonde, Jr.!
Annika Romani (Age 9, Salon Client, Inmate, Ensemble) Annika first graced the stage at age five as a rising star in Moana, Jr. with Elk Grove Village Park District’s Spotlight Theatre. Since then, she has performed in six different Jr. productions, with her favorite role being in Matilda, Jr. in 2023. When she’s not on stage, Annika enjoys taking dance lessons at Relevé Performing Arts and spending summers swimming with the Itasca Dolphins. She is thrilled to shine bright in Legally Blonde, Jr. and sincerely thanks you for coming to the show — sit back, relax and enjoy!
Emily Schneider (Age 10, Aaron Schultz, Salon Client, Ensemble) Emily Schneider is ten and is thrilled to be Aaron Schultz, a Delta Nu, a Kappa Nu, and a Salon Client in Legally Blonde, Jr. This is Emily’s first production with Spotlight Theatre, but she has previously performed in Alice in Wonderland, Jr., Peter Pan Jr., and Willy Wonka Kids. Emily likes to color and play board games in her free time. Emily would like to thank her family for all of their support.
Hailey Schneider (Age 5, Rising Star) Hailey Schneider is five and is excited to be part of the Rising Star Ensemble in Legally Blonde, Jr. This is her first production and she looks forward to singing and dancing on stage. Hailey likes to play Barbies, watch TV and swim in her free time. Hailey would like to thank her family and friends for coming to watch the performance.
Macie Schneider (Age 6, Rising Star) Macie (age six) is excited to return to the stage for her second Rising Stars production! She first caught the theater bug in Elf, Jr. and has loved singing, dancing and being on stage ever since. But what Macie loves most about being a Rising Star is all the fun she is having with friends along the way. When she’s not on stage, Macie enjoys cheering on the Buffalo Bills, beach days, tackling her swim strokes and anything/everything axolotl! She wants to send a special thank you to her sister Millie for supporting her at the show, as well as all of her other family fans.
Daniela Senne (Age 5, Rising Star) Daniela Senne is five years old and currently in Kindergarten. This is her very first show, and she couldn’t be more excited! Daniela loves to sing and dance — especially performing Taylor Swift songs for her family, complete with costume changes. She also enjoys Cheer, Tumbling and playing Softball. Daniela would like to thank her family and friends for coming out to support her and watch her perform!

Logan Soriano (Age 10, Elle Woods) Logan is thrilled to be performing in her sixth show with Spotlight! Her favorite role prior to Legally Blonde, Jr. was Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Jr. Logan enjoys singing, acting and dancing, and has especially loved all the friendships she’s made with every show. When not performing, Logan likes to read, play basketball and train in Jiu Jitsu. Logan would like to thank her friends and family for all of their support and wish the cast and crew the best! Chloe Stern (Age 12, Professor Callahan) Chloe Stern is twelve years old and is excited to portray Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde, Jr. This is Chloe’s eleventh performance. Her favorite roles were Bruce in Matilda, Jr., Santa in Elf, Jr., and Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid, Jr. When not singing or acting, Chloe likes to listen to music and admires Phillipa Soo. She would like to thank her friends for being so supportive.
Felix Wilkinson (Age 7, Rising Star) This is Felix’s first production here with the Spotlight Theatre of Elk Grove Park District. We are happy to have her join our cast in this production on Legally Blonde, Jr.!
Brinley Wood (Age 6, Rising Star) Brinley is six and attends Nerge Elementary as a first grader. This is her first performance with Rising Stars. She has attended acting camps over the summer which she has loved. Brinley is excited to be a part of First Act because she loves singing, dancing and being up on stage. In her free time she enjoys gymnastics, swimming and playing softball. Brinley also loves spending time with friends and family and going to the beach! Brinley would like to thank her family and friends for coming to watch her first major performance. She loves you all!
Production Staff Biographies
Matthew Dums (Director) This is Matthew’s eighth show here at Elk Grove Spotlight Theatre! Matthew couldn’t be more proud of all of the hard work each cast and staff member, parent, and volunteer has put into this show! Matthew graduated from Elmhurst University with a Bachelors in Psychology. He has performed in and directed numerous shows throughout his childhood and early adulthood. His previous shows as a director include Elf Jr., Oliver, Shrek, Big Fish and Wizard of Oz. He hopes you enjoy every moment of Spotlight Theatre’s production of Annie and thanks you for the ongoing support this community has welcomed him into. Break a leg, cast and crew! Erin Thomas Lobo (Music Director) Erin is thrilled to be music directing her twenty-first production with Elk Grove Spotlight Theatre! Erin earned her Bachelor of Music in Opera Performance from DePaul University and has since performed in Chicago with The Chicago Symphony Chorus, Light Opera Works, Lifeline Theatre, The Savoyaires, Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Compan and Emerald City Children’s Theatre. She also performed as a Singing Gondolier at Tokyo Disneyland Resort, performed as the Soprano Soloist for Handel’s Sing Along Messiah with the Chicago Chamber Orchestra and was a cantor at Irving Park Lutheran Church for over fifteen years. Erin is spending her summers earning her Masters of Music in Music Education (Kodaly emphasis) from Capital University in Columbus, OH and she recently founded the Plainfield Arts Community Theatre in Plainfield, IL. She is so proud of her son Grayson, now in his seventh production, and her daughter Vivienne, who is performing in her nineth production here at Spotlight. Love as always to Max, Abuelos, her sisters and her Mom for traveling so far to see these shows!
Amy Chavez (Choreographer) Amy is thrilled to be back working with the Elk Grove Park District on her twenty-fourth production! Amy has been a part of countless community theatre productions on and off stage. Amy graduated from Millikin University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre and has since her career with Arthur Murray Dance Studios. She has been with AM for over fourteen years and currently manages and teaches dance at the studio in Oakbrook Terrace. She feels so fortunate in both her positions at the Park District and at Arthur Murray, to enjoy going to work everyday and continuing to do what she loves. Amy also recently started working with Erin and the theatre company she founded in Plainfield and is loving the additional opportunity to work with her theatre partner in crime and the opportunity to share her love of theatre with my children and families! She would like to thank Deanna for this continued opportunity to be a part of this program, as well as the rest of the directing dream team! Working on these productions together is something really special and she looks forward to each and every production. Amy would also like to thank her amazing husband, Dan, who is not only her dream come true but supports all of her crazy passions and has never let her give up on her dreams. Production Staff Biographies
Lexi Colatorti (Stage Manager) This is Miss Lexi’s tenth show here at Elk Grove Spotlight Theatre! Lexi graduated from Harper College before getting her bachelors degree in Theatre Education from Elmhurst University so she could continue spreading her love of teaching young artists the magic of theatre. When she is not stage managing she can be seen on stage as she has previously been seen performing as Sandra in Big Fish! She is so thrilled to show everyone this amazing show that the kids have spent so much time and put so much hard work into! She wants to thank everyone who helped bring the show to life and hopes you all enjoy the show! Congratulations to everyone and an even bigger congratulations to her rising stars! Slay!
Deanna Rafidia (Producer) Deanna started dancing and performing at the age of two. She continued her formal dance training and became an instructor at Forevermore Dance and Theatre Arts in Chicago where she then expanded her experience to Theatre Production. Deanna was the stage manager and choreographer for six productions with the Youth Theatre at Forevermore. During her time in Chicago, Deanna danced in numerous recitals, competitions, community events and professional shows including Joffrey’s Nutcracker Ballet, Showboat, and Aida at the Civic Opera House. Deanna is a member of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), International Dance Council (CID) UNESCO and has taught / Choreographed dance for eighteen years. Deanna’s choreography has been showcased in Dance Chicago, Inaside’s Youth Dance Summit, Six Flags Great America, Brookfield Zoo, Navy Pier and Walt Disney World. Further credits include working with Miss Illinois contestants, judging dance competitions and choreographing for Chicagoland events and music videos. She has now produced twelve shows with Elk Grove Park District.
Miles Toriani (Production Assistant) Miles graduated from Grand Valley State University this past spring with a bachelor’s degree double majoring in Film and Video and Psychology. He was the President of STAGE, the theater club on campus and produced the club’s first ever licensed musical. Though you could never find him performing on stage in the spotlight, Miles has experienced all departments of theater crew, from controlling the petal drops in Beauty and the Beast to lighting choir concerts. Miles’s hobbies include playing video games, film and aerial photography, listening to music, watching movies, working on short films with his partner and occasionally birding with his sister. This is his first show with the Elk Grove Park District and he’s incredibly excited to be a part of it! Congratulations to everyone!!

A community theatre production for youth and adult participants!
Auditions Ages 7 - Adult ● Mon, Jan 4
Please prepare to dance, sing a 32 measure selection of your choosing and preform a 1 - 2 minute monologue. Participants must register to audition. Auditions are held at Rainbow Falls Community Center, 200 Reverend Morrison Blvd., Elk Grove Village.

Callbacks
Callbacks will be held Wednesday, January 7 between 5 - 8:30pm. Participants will be notified via email whether or not they are needed for a call back and what time to arrive.
Cast List
The cast list will be posted by Thursday, January 8 online at elkgroveparks.org. All participants wil also receive an email with their assigned character role.
