Remind us where are you from? I’m from Stockport, Greater Manchester! Supporting the Northerners ;) How does it feel to be part of Elite? It’s the place I started... my second shoot I ever did was for Elite so it’s nice to be back and a be a little part of the Elite Family :) What was it like working with the Rowan? I’ve never enjoyed a shoot so much really brought out my image in this shoot, we work great together and his ideas are amazing! He is up there with the best and can’t wait to shoot again. What made you become a model? The thrill of being behind a camera I love everything about it the more I do the more I learn and grow What is your favourite tattoo? All my tattoos mean something to me so I love them all but my geisha is the most amazing piece of artwork can’t wait to make her part of my full sleeve! I go to Dave at Suburban Ink in Marple, Stockport... Check them out! Are you a bit of a geek at all? Are you trying to ruin my image? Haha! I think we’re all geeks at heart ;)

What makes a good night out, great? Friends!! Doesn’t matter where I am or what were doing, my girlies make my nights out what they are. Do you prefer clubs or gigs? I would have to say clubs but I’m more of a trendy bar sort of girl. I like too move about and not stick to one place all night. What do you usually drink on a night out? I have banned myself from drinking wine on a night out for reasons I refuse to discuss haha...... Cocktails mainly can’t say no to a jäger bomb or three Do you stop for some junk food on the way home? I try not too but after a few I think you need something stodgy in your tummy... Soaks up the alcohol ;) What kind of man do you go for? I try not to have a type these days but I suppose someone with a respectful manner, good values and cheeky smile! Tattoos are a must, piercings an optional bonus. Apply within ;)

Do you have a celebrity crush? There is nobody hotter than Channing Tatum.That man is beautiful!

What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you in public? I once went out on a night out in a gorgeous cream floaty dress with some pretty lace white underwear underneath, BIG MISTAKE! As soon as we got in the club the strobe and UV lights made my cream dress invisible and my underwear seemed to glow... Put it this way I sat on a stool all night with a lads hoody on! What movie do you watch when you are ill? I love a good horror film but if I was snuggled in bed it would have to be Troy my favourite film ever... Nothing to do with Brad Pitt, honest! What food could you eat for the rest of your life? Red velvet cupcakes without question. Fat free of course. Any advice for upcoming models reading this? Just get yourself out there don’t wait for the opportunities to find you! Don’t sell yourself cheap, have confidence to be yourself... you don’t have to conform to a certain image snf it’s never too late! :) xx

Established in London in 2011, Saint Kidd is the brainchild of Dougie Poynter, keen to create a label which is, at its core, a platform for emerging British design talent.

Just as pirates and privateers travelled as the masters of their own destiny, the legend of their travails living on long after their deaths, so the founders of Saint Kidd hope their unique vision endures.

Long before Captain Sparrow, pirates prospered in folklore, ostensibly the British version of that Western vision of cowboys taming the wild edges of the earth. Standing unlikely among these masters of the high seas was William Kidd, born in 1654. He was captain of his vessel, a leader of men and the most endearingly blundering privateer to ever set sail. Tasked by a group of entrepreneurial British Lords to scour the ocean seeking both enemy and pirate ships to pillage, Kidd kick-started his own piracy career by accidentally raiding a British ship transporting a considerable bounty.

Established in London in 2011, Saint Kidd is the brainchild of Dougie Poynter, keen to create a label which is, at its core, a platform for emerging British design talent. Saint Kidd channels the creativity of like-minded artists interested in making their mark using high-quality, ecologically sound components. Meticulous attention to detail is paramount, from the packaging – every piece individually wrapped in cloth sacks as if delivered straight from the belly of Kidd’s vessel – to Kidd’s memorable quotations stitched inside each garment.

Kidd became a marked man, making a swift escape to the Caribbean islands, but in doing so he ignited the legend of pirates’ buried treasure. His journey eventually ended in 1701 when he was deported from America to a London court who proved less than sympathetic to his story. He was duly hung over the Thames as a warning; his body left to rot for three years. An unlikely man, therefore, to adopt as the figurehead of a new brand, yet 301 years after Kidd’s gruesome death, the ragtag nature of his adventures and his willingness to take risks provided the spark of inspiration for clothing label Saint Kidd.

As for the designs themselves you’ll find super soft T-shirts, vests emblazoned with original, modern reworking of traditional nautical motifs. There’s also a punk-rooted playfulness to their designs: a cutlass brandishing, stump-legged kitten with an eye-patch, a selection of winged sea creatures, a glimpse into the world of freakshow curios. Saint Kidd springs from a desire to keep its fundamentals strong and the edges raw, behaving not as a company, but as an encompassing artistic collective.

Hey Jack, welcome to Elite! Where are your based? Burntwood, which for the geographically challenged is about 30 mins north of Birmingham. My closest railhead is Lichfield. I have a small but well equipped studio there and a couple of spare rooms I shoot in. I also have access to a number of local studios and some great locations on my doorstep. Do you have a website so we can follow you more? 99% of my work is via recommendations and word-of-mouth, so like all busy people I’ve let it slip so it’s a sorry affair… I’m looking for a major overhaul… any competent web designers out there? Tell us how you got started: Haha, when I were a lad… I used to ‘borrow’ my parents cameras and take snaps of anything and everything. I had my first SLR film camera when I was about fourteen or fifteen, it was a Zenith, and I think made from metal reclaimed from an old Soviet battle tank!

How long have you been a photographer? Drag up a sandbag and swing the Tilley! I did some specialist photography courses and work when serving in the Military, and have supplied magazines and newspapers for a considerable time ever since covering a whole range of stuff from sport, news, lifestyle, wildlife, fashion… If you want my age you will have to cut me in half and count the rings! Haha. How would you describe your style? I often ask others the same question; apparently it’s recognisable, but I like to change it about depending on what I’m shooting… I do have a bit of a nickname ‘creosote and treacle’, which was a response to somebody questioning how I edit my images. Personally, natural light excites me, and as anyone who has worked with me will testify, sometimes really challenge myself in quite difficult light situations to try to get the image in-camera as much as possible. Despite what some people think, my editing is quite minimal.

Have you had anything funny happen during a shoot? I have disappeared down banks, over walls, and knocked a speedlite into a canal…and stood there watching a few hundred quid disappear into the murky depths forever. It was on the same shoot the model decided to whip off her top on the tow-path narrowly causing barge collision carnage! I like to make shoots fun for the model and myself, otherwise what’s the point? What was it like working with Sarah on this shoot? Sarah is such a darling; can you believe she once gave me the knockback for a shoot! Haha (she will hate me for saying so). She’s so well prepared and easy to work with, chatty, smart and knows exactly what she wants… We could have shot for days getting loads of different stuff – in fact we will be doing some more stuff soon, so watch this space! Who are your inspirations? Tough call, there are so many talented people out there whose work I respect. Some of the contemporary Russian photographers are currently creating some totally mid-blowing work. Who are your favourite models to work with? Reliable paying ones! Failing that, a sense of humour and a shared vision is a must! I’ve had repeat shoots with a number of cool models and try to spoil them all equally – chocolate, cakes and popcorn are all winners! Do you have any advice for aspiring models? Definitely – Communication, reliability and preparation…and learn from others. The same can be said for aspiring photographers. These make the difference between good and great shoots.

What equipment do you use? I’m an ex-Canon convert… so it has to be full frame Nikon bodies with top quality prime glass stuck on the front. Much of my work is done around f2.8 – I love the depth of field it brings. My studio is full of all sorts of lighting gear. I do like the punch delivered by Elinchrom light heads.

What are your thoughts on digital manipulation? Digital what? I love how the boundaries are being pushed through the combination of technology and software; they are simply tools – it’s no different to the darkroom manipulation of the yester-year ‘purists’. I do think though that images should be an accurate representation of who is in them! Down with plastic skin and Photoshop diets. What do you enjoy most about photography? Without doubt the challenges and changes of light shooting natural light, and of course all of the amazing people I get to meet and make friends with.

No I’m realy honoured that you guys have had me back once again! :) What was it like working with the photographer? Jack’s a great photographer and a wonderful person! We had loads of fun, I was relaxed and got a lot from the shoot! Jack new what I wanted and the right lighting, lenses and angles to use to create it! A true pro! So rumour has it you turned down working with Jack previously, are you now regretting that? Now now ;) well of course at the time there was proberly a suitable reason, like not needing a port update etc, so no regrets as the time probably wasn’t right! And as we can see from the pics from our shoot, at this point the time definitely was right!:) I’m grateful he gave me another chance. What made you become a model? What better way to make a living then travelling UK and Europe, meeting amazing people, doing something fun, challenging and interesting! A 9-5 isn’t for me!

So who do you look up to in the world of modelling? No one realy, I want to be original! There are some absolutely beautiful models out there who I definitely perve on, but I want to have my own style, that’s why I try to incorporate commercial, edgy glamour and nude into my portfolio. What was your favourite part of the shoot? Definitely in the corn fields... until Jack mentioned they’d be snakes...THAT BITE! Oh yeh I loved that! :/ Are you a bit of a geek at all? Yes, massively! I love stupid cartoons, I have funny looking teddies and I watch the office! My favourite film is Wall-E!

What food could you eat for the rest of your life? Italian, yummy!

I’ve just got back from the best holiday in Ibiza! 8 days of non-stop partying with the best group of friends! I even managed a spa day when I was out there... Haha random! Is there anywhere you would like to go on holiday, that you haven’t? Miami is defintely on the cards for next year. The ultra music festival looks amazing. Do you like to go to festivals? Yeah I love them, I’m so gutted I didn’t get Glastonbury tickets this year, although Ibiza and The Electric Daisy carnival made up for that no end! So do you reckon summer time or Christmas time is better? Summer time 100%. Christmas was great as a kid but now it’s just the same old. Give me a bikini over a wooly jumper any day ;) What is more liberating - skinny dipping or sunbathing naked? Sunbathing naked I guess as your more exposed... Plus I hate tan lines so sunbathing naked is Ideal for me! Any tips on any guys trying to have a summer romance? Be a little more reserved. Girls tend to find you more intriguing when your not in their face with the cheesey chat up lines. Who would you most like to kiss in the world, right now? For some reason I’m finding Calvin Harris really attractive at the moment haha. Who is the LAST person you would like to kiss? Ian Beale.. Yuck! Do plenty boys ask you for smooch when you are on a night out? Hmm no not really... I think they’re scared! I don’t know why, I’m really nice :) haha.

Club: UPRAWR Birmingham Event: Summer Christmas Party Why?: We love Summer, we love Christmas, why should Australians be the only ones able to do this? Christmas comes but once a year right? Wrong. Not for UPRAWR. This month our Christmassy expectations finally aligned with reality. UPRAWR held a Summer Christmas Party. This didn’t make much sense to me, this didn’t make much sense to a lot of people, but who gives a fuck! This just seems to be how these guys roll, doing what they want when they want and if it’s a room full of shirtless people partying in the sunshine and heat with Santa hats on, then it looks like nobody is going to stop them. Seriously delicious hotties and hench as fuck dudes flooded the room wearing pretty much nothing but a Santa hat. On a night like this, who could blame them, it was HOT. I’d have given anything to leap in to some snow, but we all know being British we moan when it’s hot, we moan when it’s cold, this was the ultimate chance to live the dream just as we’d wish in the middle of Winter, sat with presents surrounded by half naked members of the opposite sex. This entire event was in collaboration with ‘The Gym’ which you’ve more than likely probably seen up and down the country. They have coded pod doors that look like something from Men In Black. This also may be why the place was packed with so many beach bodied people. This team up offered the opportunity for 2 people to all inclusive 1 year gym memberships with personal training sessions, even just for attending the night you got a free day session, but purely for our entertainment purposes, to win this was the greatest competition held of all time.

The guys had to get up on stage and do as many press ups as they could in 30 seconds with their nose hitting the deck, yeah yeah yeah that’s fine. The ladies, had to hold an UPRAWR beachball and squat, with their ass facing to the room holding a sea of 800+ people. You have never heard so many people roar! This was utterly priceless. When I tell you with UPRAWR that you have to be there and see it to believe it, I truly mean it. We spent most of the night in a haze of cheap ass drinks (£1 a shot, BOOMING!), dancing with hot Santa girls, spending stupid amounts of time posing in seaside style ‘surfing Santa’ cut-out and trying to climb tinselled palm trees. Did I mention there was a Tiki hut covered in snow? All in all it felt like some kind of surreal parallel universe where it’s legit to BBQ your turkey and we all actually got what we wanted for Christmas. I for one LOVED it. These guys hold events all across the UK. My sister’s wedding is where it all began for me. Set in the AMAZING grounds of Blenheim Palace near Oxford, there was no way I was not going to document that! This then paved the way for me to persue this amazing art through my College and University years. How long have you been a photographer? I started in 1995, but got serious the year later. So that would make it about 17 to 18 years now.

How would you describe your style? Hmm... I would have to say that my style could be described as bright, vibrant and colourful when needed and detailed when it HAS to be. What equipment do you use? The camera I use is a Nikon D50. Now I know it’s an old camera, but the detail it has for close up work is phenomenal as well as being able to vary the degrees of focus. I also occasionally use a Fujifilm Finepix S4400. Yes, it’s a newer camera and yes it has a compact aspect to it, but I am a believer that it’s not what you use, it’s how you use it that defines the way a shot is going to look.

Have you had anything funny happen during a shoot? During several of my shoots there have been some funny moments, I mean, I do try and make it fun, otherwise what is the point? But one of the ones that stands out to me is the first vampire shoot I did in the woods. Arriving just after midnight, the woods become a very spooky place. All it needed was the addition of some mist, a cabin and I would have been slightly brickin’ it! I was there with a group of girls and we were halfway through the shoot, when one of the models and I noticed something in the long, dark tunnel we had come through on the way in. So I went in with my trusty torch, thinking one of the girls might come with me but that didn’t happen so I was flying solo. Now I knew I had seen a glimpse of a coat so I shouted out for who or whatever to come out in the open but still, nothing happened. When I boldly walked further in, still there was nothing at first... and then suddenly, a group of adults all jumped out screaming! I wont lie to you... there was profanity. Also, more recently there was a killer moth incident which happened at the end of a shoot. We had just finished and this huge moth came flying at me and would not leave me alone. I swung at it with my tripod but that was no help at all! Neither were the model or any bystanders who were all too busy enjoying the show!

Who are your inspirations? I try to be unique with my work but you cannot help but find inspirations in other people’s art. Scott Cole’s work I love for its vibrance, and also the work of Scott Chambers is inspirational for his grasp on the edgy and alternative, and the way he manages to bring a sense of softness to it... Amazing. I also find creativity in works by John Farrar, Bilacous, Danielle Tunstall.... and also, a surprising amount of my ideas come from my dreams! Who are your favourite models to work with? I have to be truthful here, I have loved working with all the models I have shot with. But if I have to play favourites, I would say: Hot Cocoa, Frankie Gem, Gabrielle Doll Facee, Gemma Cullen, Kay Dakota, Ally Holiday, Emma Louise and Dolly Donnahue. The ladies have helped me span my work through all the spectums, whether it’s alternative, glamour or pin-up.

Do you have any advice for aspiring models? It would be to have fun with it, spend time shaping that alterego of yours whether it’s posing in front of the mirror or taking snapshots of yourself for your Instagram. Find “The Diva Within” as I like to call it. Join modelling pages such as , Model Mayhem or Purestorm for example. Search for photographers that have the style you are after and take it from there. Remember you have to go for the things you want in this life... they do not always come to you. And don’t give up, believe in yourself... even if shoots start to slow down. Persistance is the key. What are your thoughts on digital manipulation? Personally I would rather I didn’t have to use it, but in some instances you find that you have to. Sometimes in my pictures, I find they need to be tweaked in some ways, for example if you was on location and there is litter in shot that needs to be removed or if the shot itself is not quite as detailed as you would like it be... or even if the model has a spot! As a photographer, I’m always after that perfect shot and once it is captured, I know it’s in the bag so all I have to do is make it the best it can be.

What do you enjoy most about photography? Capturing the magic... Capturing THAT moment. We are here on this Earth for a limited time, and it goes by so fast. You see something and want to keep the memory of it forever. This is what I strive to do and I love doing it, because you never know if a moment like this will ever come your way again. It’s easier now that we all have mobiles equipped to be able to photograph or film things we get up to in our lives, because without the means to capture them... those moments are lost.

I really enjoyed doing the calendar, My look is different in every pic so there is something for everyone. Which time of the year do you prefer: Summer or Christmas? I l adore the Winter season. I love wrapping up in loads of layers and cwtching up inside. Christmas is always a big family time for me to, so I really look forward to it, catching up with tons of friends and family I havent seen for ages. Have you had a great Summer this year? Dekker Photography How are you planning on spending the rest of the year? I’m going to be busy launching the new BGC range and also working lots of conventions promoting my 2014 calender. You have your own clothing line, Broken Girls Club, can you tell us more about it? BGC is an independent unisex clothing brand. I launched BGC in July 2011. I couldn’t find any decent t-shirts on the high street so I decided to design and make some of my own. It’s grown from there! You have a lot of recognisable tattoos, which is your favourite? My favourite tattoo is the rose on my left hand. It was done by Diego Manini from Daredevil tattoos in New York. I’m looking forward to getting my right hand tattooed by him this year at the London tattoo Convention.

Dekker Photography You are also known for your light pink hair, what other colours have you dyed it? My hair colour changes monthly. I have been every colour under the sun. I am trying to keep it remotely normal for the time being. Its gonna fall out at this rate!

What do you look for in a man/ woman? I love a good sense of humour. Lots of banter and someone who doesn’t take themself too seriously! I’m a sucker for a man in good suit! Do you prefer a night out on the town, or night in with a take away and a movie? I love a good takeaway and movie once in a while but I really love to dance so can never turn down a good night out with the girls. What do you drink when you are out? My favourite tipple is gin and tonic. it tastes lush and doesn’t give me a hangover. I get coaxed into doing shots a lot, I hate them so try and avoid them like the plaque. I’m a lightweight. What was it like working with the photographer? Well, Andy Watson has been a friend of mine for ages and we’d been organising to shoot for over a year and it just never happened haha, I loved working with him, we had a laugh, made a cute video too! And James Bessant was someone I’d also spoke to for a while, he shot me at Hallam Mill studio in Stockport which is incredible, his photos are amongst my favourite. What made you become a model? I’m not sure really, even as a child I was a massive poser when the camera came out so it started there really! I love it, it’s like playing dress up!

What is your favourite tattoo? I have a unicorn tattoo’d in the ditch of my arm, that’s my favourite. It was done by a guy called Brad Edwards, the pain was worth it totally, he’s done an amazing job! Are you a bit of a geek at all? I’m a Harry Potter geek. Seriously, ask me anything haha. What makes a good night out, great? Good company and good music! The nightlife is limited in Stafford, I’m lucky that my group of friends is really close so we always manage to have a wicked time! Do you prefer clubs or gigs? GIGS! The atmosphere is incredible, everyone’s having an amazing time, plus I just love live music, it’s so much better than listening to a DJ play the same old stuff. What do you usually drink on a night out? Iâ€™m one of those bad people that always mixes their drinks. But my favourite is double Sailor Jerrys and coke. I love a good Sambuca shot too! Do you have a celebrity crush? Several, I’m such a pervert! My love for Oli Sykes is pretty common knowledge though, 6 years and counting haha. I like David Beckham too, but I’d have to gag him, his voice goes through me. Boobs or bum? BUM! But I think that’s only because I lack in the boob area haha. What is your best feature? I really like my eyes. What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you in public? I’m really clumsy, so I do loads of embarrassing things. The worst was when I walked into a lamp post in rush hour, cars started beeping, I was hiding my face and because of this walked directly into a tree which was in front of the lamp post. Lesson learnt, do not text and walk! What movie do you watch when you are ill? Anything Disney related! I love Disney films! Beauty and the Beast is my favourite. What food could you eat for the rest of your life? Italian! I love pasta! Any advice for upcoming models reading this? No matter what anyone says to or about you, don’t give up! Hi Jo, you’re new to Elite and we are very excited about it! How are you? Hi!! I’m great thanks, even better that I’m here with you! :) hope you are good too? Where are you from? I’m from Cheshire area, but originally a tiny village in Staffordshire, a country girl! How does it feel to be part of Elite? Exciting! I’ve wanted to be a part of it for a while, the girls of Elite are all absolute beauts so it’s great I’ve had the chance to become one of them!

What was it like working with the photographer? Amazing, it’s always better when you can have a laugh with a photographer because it makes the shoots so much more laid back and therefore the shots come out a lot more natural! I’ve been laughing all day!

So who do you look up to in the world of modelling? Two of my best friends are models, Emma Summer and Sophia Wilde and they have taught me a lot since we met! But the two models who I love and I’m completely jealous of are Mel Clarke and Nat Philips. Absolute stunners!

What made you become a model? I’m not sure really but it’s always been something I’ve been in to so I’m glad it’s all going well at the moment! I really love it though so its great having a career in something I actually enjoy!

Are you a bit of a geek at all? A bit yes, I still play Final Fantasy 7 and 9 on a regular basis and I have Pokemon Red on my Gameboy Advance! I’m not great with comics though, I wait till the films come out.

What makes a good night out, great? Alcohol obviously and good friends with good banter! I can’t deal with drama, it’s what turns a great night sour! Do you prefer clubs or gigs? Gigs, but a club night after a gig makes it even better! I’ve been to so many gigs and festivals now I couldn’t remember them all to count! Do you stop for some junk food on the way home? I like a Subway on the way home! I can’t think of anything worse than a kebab :/ bleurgh!

What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you in public? I got very drunk at a festival after party and thought it would be hilarious if I lifted my top up on the stage...I forgot I wasn’t wearing a bra and ended up flashing the whole venue my boobs as well as a few band members... morning regrets made my hangover ten times worse! Any advice for upcoming models reading this? My main piece of advice for models is stay confident! It really shines through in your photos and what makes an image great! Also listen to the photographers, they know best! Lastly don’t give up the first time you get bad feedback, learn from it!

So tell us how to have a good night out in Newcastle? I’ve had amazing nights in so many different places! I’d say just make sure that you’re with a good bunch of people and you’ll have fun anyway! But my venues of choice are probably The Cut, Legends, Digital and WHQ. Favourite drink? Sailor Jerry’s! Gigs or clubs? It depends! Clubs, if I had to decide. Hi Amie, how was your experience with Elite? Always have a great fun experience shooting with Elite, super cool guys and always happy to to make you feel as comfortable as possible :) You are becoming more and more recognisable in magazines, what might we have seen you in before? You may of seen me on the covers of Bizarre Magazine, Skin Deep, Rebelicious magazine, TNT and of course Elite :) I’ve also done a few adverts for MTV and been a feature in music videos for bands including Architects and Panic Cell :) You have a lot of unique tattoos, which are your favourites? They all have such great meanings to me and are my journal of my life. I’m obsessed with pirates, clowns and velociraptors though, so my half sleeve on my left arm is pirate themed done by friend Marv Parker at Kent Tattoos in Dartford. My right arm which features me and my evil reflection as clowns and an awesome roaring raptor I adore, these are super realistic and done by my talented friend Gavin Rodriquez at his studio The Monkeys Paw in Cambridge. Also currently working on my back piece which I’ve done 20 hours of so far and have at least 20 more to go, I’m not giving away too much of what it is or even about at the moment but I’m very lucky to have my friend Tommy Farrow work his magic on it at his studio Level 13 in Brentwood, Essex :D So excited to see it finished! You have been on the cover of Elite before, with blue hair! What made you lose the blue and dye it blonde? I had had blue hair for well over two years and it’s honestly a massive pain in the fucking arse! Haha as much as I loved it it was such hardwork to keep. I also felt people typecasted me as only being able to pull off one type of look or shoot concept because of my crazy hair and that irritated me, so I changed it back to blonde in hope to stop the typecasting and relieve myself of the stress of dying it every week and getting blue absolutely everywhere plus it cost way too much.

You were described by Bizarre as a ‘dirty Disney princess’. If this is true which Disney character do you compare yourself to? I still love that quote haha! I’m not really sure to be honest, I may look like a disney princess (in some peoples opinions) but my personality is rather outgoing,loud, crude, blunt and a bit much for some people to be around or understand. Ill let you guys decide! You look like an alt-girl version of Marilyn Monroe, have you ever been compared to anyone else? Ahh thank you so much thats a massive compliment! I’ve been compared to a few people some I don’t mind (tank girl) and some I’d rather not be compared to (not telling) but I don’t really tend to like comparisons I’d rather just be seen as me and only me! On your facebook you also describe yourself as a singer/ songwriter, how would you describe your music? Yup I’m actually a musician before a model. I’ve been writing music since the age of about 11... maybe even younger! It’s my main passion and I won’t stop until I’m satisfied with my career as a musician. My style is a crossover of genres - mainly punk, ska, thrash with a catchy vibe. I’m still working on my first official EP. it’s taking ages due to lack of funds and other small issues but I’m so excited to release it. How do you make a good night out, great? Where would you like your career to take you next? I would like to be (as far as I know) the first alternative tattooed girl on the cover of a fitness magazine. It may of already been done I’m not sure, but it’s something I’d love to do. I’ve been working real hard for over the past year with my physique and food, lost over two stone in weight and gained loads of muscle in place of that unwanted fat. Welcome back to Elite Magazine Ali. It’s fantastic to feature you within our digital pages. How are you doing today? Why thank you. I am doing very well! It’s good to be back in the magazine! How have you been enjoying the work we’re doing here at Elite? I love Elite. I read the mag regularly. Loads of beautiful girls and great clothing companies advertise here. I love checking out all of the beautiful photos. And you know all about beautiful photos. 2013 has been massive for you so far, with some incredible work under your belt. Has it been a bit of a whirlwind? It has been a very busy year, but I have enjoyed it so much. I adore my job and everything that comes with it! I am fortunate enough to meet the most amazing people and travel all over the UK. You really have blossomed as an artist since your first appearance in Elite; another change has been the addition of some notable ink. Could you tell us a little bit about your brand spanking new sleeve? My sleeve is now finished, and I am over the moon with it! I have really been dedicated to finishing it this year. I’m a lover of all things vintage, so the focal points are a traditional version of vintage hand mirrors, pocket watches and cameos. I am such a girly girl too... so flowers, butterflies and birds were a must for me. It’s a great contrast against you’re amazing skin. Are you tempted to keep the ink minimal, or do you have big plans for future coverage? I adore tattoos. They are a beautiful expression of creativity and personality. I plan to get a lot more coverage. I do have plans for the future but I don’t plan on going for full body coverage. There is no doubt I will be getting a lot more work done but there are places on my body I would like to keep free of tattoos. Photography: Graeme Allon

And what a body! You’ve got a magnificent curvaceous figure Ali, does life as a model mean keeping it trim? Have you got a diet or exercise regime it’s important to stick to? I think it is important to watch your figure but personally I love curves! I am naturally curvy and I don’t see the point in not eating what I like to eat (within reason). Life is too short! I exercise and watch my diet but I definitely don’t have a regime. A girl after our own hearts! So on to your latest shoot with our Elite snapper. How did the day go? It was a brilliant day! The outfits were great and we had such a laugh. It was a very laid back atmosphere and great fun. Did you come to the shoot with any ideas you wanted to try out, or was it just a loose, improvisational session? I think we all had a vision about what we wanted the outcome to be, and on the day we all put our heads together and brainstormed ideas. You mentioned the outfits, and your interest in working with exciting indie brands. What was it like rocking the likes of Grim Appe, etc? It was great. I love their clothes! The clothing really sings out in the shots. Was the British weather kind to you on the shoot? You were outside in not a lot, approaching September, after all. The weather was actually very kind to us that day. It was such a hot summery day, making my job easier!

By the way, with so much fantastic merch flying around, did you get any freebies? Either as a gift or purloined when nobody was watching? We won’t tell anyone, honest. Haha! Yes I did! The wonderful owner of Elite gave me a few freebies that I wore in the shots. I love them. Good old Elite patriarch... Back to the set Ali, and you lend a fantastic vivaciousness to the images, and pure smoulder. How did you learn how to do that? Is it just natural modelling instincts? It’s powerful stuff! Haha! It is a natural expression that I think I have worked on over the years. Well good work, time very well spent. By now I’m sure you’ve seen the results of your latest Elite shoot. Care to give us an Ali Amour mini-review? You’ve got to be chuffed with what you created. I am very chuffed. I love the photos from the shoot and I am very lucky to have worked with such a great team! So where next for you Ali? Will you be shooting into autumn and winter? Are you someone that welcomes the wool and warm tones of the cold months, or are you clinging to summer for as long as possible? I am actually taking a break over September as I am moving to London! I will however be at London Tattoo Convention next month. Exciting times! I don’t mind the winter so much. I am just hoping it doesn’t last for a whole year this time! Marvellous news (about the tattoo convention, not the taking a break). Are you looking forward to the experience of London? So much! It is daunting but I cannot wait to get to the big city! What was it like working with Chris? Chris Bulezuik is an amazing photographer! It was great fun, we had such a laugh but we both knew the aim of the shoot and I feel we achieved it. I have shot with Chris a few times now and will be shooting with him again soon. I feel very lucky to have worked with such a great person/photographer.

to say Summer as I get to do more location shoots, I love to be naked outside and doing that in winter can be a tad nippy (excuse the pun). What has been your best holiday in your life...ever!? This is easy Galapagos Islands! I love animals and it was truly amazing, a once in a lifetime holiday. I have been very lucky with the places I have been. Is there anywhere you would like to go on holiday, that you havenâ€™t? Italy! I would love to go to Italy. I am as greedy as they come and Italian food is my fave, so I really want to go to eat haha but also to me it seems like such a romantic country and I love a bit of romance.

Any tips on any guys trying to have a summer romance? Well I might not be the best person to give tips as I am single. Cheesy I know but making a girl laugh, being a gentleman but not a push over. I personally love chatup lines they make me laugh and take bottle J Who would you most like to kiss in the world, right now? Model and ex-marine Alex Munsky or Baine from Batman!

What is more liberating - skinny dipping or sunbathing naked? Well both are pretty standard for me as Iâ€™m always stripping off. So I would have to say skinny dipping. Thought sunbathing naked was normal?

What’s the cheesiest chat up line you have heard? Not sure about cheesiest as I said I love them. The best one I have heard is a woman sat on the beach and a man builds a sandcastle and says to the girl ‘I now have my castle, will you be my princess?’ Cheesy as hell but brilliant. What can a guy/girl do to get you attention and impress you? I love romance, gentlemen and strong and powerful men that can make me laugh but take control when need be.
