Listen and read. One day in April, in Canada, in a dark cave… Oh look, there are four pups! Their father is a wolf. Their mother is half-wolf and half-dog. Her name is Kiche.

White Fang At the Indian village, the pup is very sad. He wants his mum.
White Fang grows up and becomes a sled dog.
The other sled dogs hate White Fang because he’s half-dog and half-wolf.
They bully White Fang.
And White Fang learns to fight them.

Le Linee guida ministeriali dell’educazione alla cittadinanza si sviluppano intorno a tre nuclei concettuali: 1. COSTITUZIONE. Il primo nucleo comprende: diritto, legalità e solidarietà. La conoscenza e pratica quotidiana del dettato costituzionale. Concetti di legalità, di rispetto delle leggi e delle regole comuni in tutti gli ambienti di convivenza (codice della strada, regolamenti scolastici). Conoscenza dell’Inno e della Bandiera nazionale. Competenze: L’alunno, al termine del primo ciclo, comprende i concetti del prendersi cura di sé, della comunità, dell’ambiente. È consapevole dell’importanza dei principi di solidarietà, uguaglianza e rispetto della diversità. Comprende il concetto di Stato, Regione, Città Metropolitana, Comune e Municipi. Conosce la Dichiarazione universale dei diritti umani.
2. SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE. Il secondo nucleo comprende: educazione ambientale, conoscenza e tutela del patrimonio e del territorio. La salvaguardia della convivenza e dello sviluppo sostenibile, costruzione di ambienti di vita, di città, la scelta di modi di vivere inclusivi e il rispetto dei diritti fondamentali delle persone. La tutela della salute, del benessere psico-fisico, della sicurezza alimentare, dell’uguaglianza tra soggetti, di un’istruzione di qualità. Il rispetto degli animali, dei beni comuni, la protezione civile.
Competenze: L’alunno, al termine del primo ciclo, comprende la necessità di uno sviluppo equo e sostenibile, rispettoso dell’ecosistema. Promuove il rispetto verso gli altri, l’ambiente e la natura e riconosce gli effetti del degrado e dell’incuria. Sa riconoscere le fonti energetiche e sa classificare e riciclare i rifiuti. 3. CITTADINANZA DIGITALE. Il terzo nucleo comprende ciò che concorre a fornire a un individuo la capacità di avvalersi consapevolmente e responsabilmente dei mezzi di comunicazione virtuali.
Competenze: L’alunno, al termine del primo ciclo, è in grado di distinguere i diversi device e di utilizzarli correttamente, di rispettare i comportamenti nella rete e navigare in modo sicuro. È in grado di comprendere il concetto di dato e di individuare le informazioni corrette o errate. Sa distinguere l’identità digitale da un’identità reale e applica le regole sulla privacy. È consapevole dei rischi della rete e come riuscire a individuarli.
