Mambo, the dancing penguin from Happy Feet, is back and he’s a real tap champion! The director of Happy Feet 2 is still George Miller but this time the film is in 3D! Mambo’s voice is once again the voice of the American actor Elijah Wood, and with him Brad Pitt and Matt Damon also star. The first Happy Feet film won an Oscar and a Golden Globe and earned more than 500 million dollars.

You can help the environment even when you go shopping. Here are 10 tips to make your shopping “green”.

Buy water, milk, yogurt and fruit juice in glass bottles: glass is recyclable!

Buy biscuits in paper packets: they cost less and the paper is recyclable.

The residents of Snowymountain look for the Christmas tree too. There is chaos in the square. The child who was talking to the old man suddenly shouts something. Child (shout loud): Everyone STOP!

Mayor (very happy): Well done! These decorations are beautiful! Resident 1: Our streets and town square look so Christmassy! Mayor: Our Christmas tree will arrive soon and it’s enormous! In Snowflaketown Square the residents are preparing the Christmas decorations. They are all running about and working very hard.

Act two It’s Christmas Eve, the happy residents of Snowflaketown all go to the town square. Mayor: Today is Christmas Eve and no other town is as Christmassy as

Snowflaketown. Residents (surprised): Oh! Our Christmas tree has disappeared! Resident 1: It was the people from Snowymountain! They want to win the competition this year! Mayor: Don’t be silly! Let’s look for the tree! You go this way and you go that way! They all run around, this way and that way, looking everywhere for the tree. The residents of Snowymountain arrive with their mayor. Mayor of Snowymountain: Dear colleague, what’s happening?

Then they all join hands and form a circle around the Christmas tree and sing: Residents: We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas,
We wish you a merry Christmas, 11 And a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Children: (clapping hands and jumping for joy): Yes! Yes! Mayor (happy): Our town will win the “Christmas Competition” again this year! Children (clapping hands and jumping for joy): Yes! Yes! Mayor: In Snowflaketown you can feel the spirit of Christmas! Children: (clapping hands and jumping for joy): Yes! Yes! Mayor (irritated, towards the children): Is “yes” the only thing you can say? Children: Yes!!!!

We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas, And a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Again they all join hands and, with the mayor, form a circle around the tree, singing:
Four people enter. They are carrying a Christmas tree on their shoulders. The tree seems very heavy! Residents: (with the tree on their shoulders): Oh, dear! Oh, dear!! Oh, dear! Child 1: (pointing to the tree): The Christmas tree has arrived! The residents put the tree in the centre of the square. The children run and jump around the tree. An old man doesn’t look very happy. Two children go towards the old man. Child 2: Excuse me, Sir… why aren’t you happy?
Mayor: I’ve realised my mistake and now … I’d like to celebrate Christmas with you all! Residents (clapping): Hurray! Hurray!

5 The child runs away. The other child whispers something in the old man’s ear and he replies. It looks like a big secret! The lights go out. End of act one.
Residents: Welcome back, Mr Mayor! Grandfather: At last! We’ve missed you! The mayor arrives. The residents interrupt their song and run towards him.
Child 1: He’s the mayor’s grandfather. He’s not interested in the “Christmas Competition”. But I am! Let’s win this year too! The old man turns away and doesn’t reply.

Snowboarding Champion: Katie Ormerod is the queen of the slopes!

Katie Ormerod Katie began skiing when she was 4 years old and got her first snowboard when she was just 5. She showed incredible talent and won gold medals in lots of snowboarding competitions for kids and teens. Now she is sponsored by big companies and she competes in adult competitions against top international snowboarders!

A Ride around Sydney
Welcome to Australia! Sydney is the largest city in Australia. There are many interesting sights to see including the famous Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Observatory. There are also some beautiful beaches and there is, of course, Sydney Park.

In fact, this is where the Sydney to Gong Bike Ride begins every November! The bike ride is a 90 km cycle ride from Sydney to Wollongong. The cyclists who participate ride along the coast, through the Royal National Park to the Sea Cliff Bridge in Wollongong. 10,000 cyclists do this very long ride to raise money for charity. Each rider must raise at least $250 and the organisers hope that they will raise of a total of 4 million dollars this year!

Guy Fawkes’ Night Remember, remember the fifth of November … it’s Guy Fawkes’ Night in Britain!
Traditions In 1605, thirteen men planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London because they wanted to kill the King of England. But the plan failed when Guy Fawkes, one of the 13 men, was caught on 5th November that year. The English people were very happy that their king was safe and they celebrated by lighting bonfires (small fires made with wood and sticks) around London. Now, every year, on 5th November, British people celebrate Guy Fawkes’ Night.
On 5th November, all around the country, people meet to watch amazing firework displays and they see the bonfire burn. They cook potatoes and sausages on the bonfire and eat a traditional dessert called Parkin cake. Children also learn the Guy Fawkes’ nursery rhyme which goes like this: “Remember, remember the fifth of November Gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason why gunpowder, treason Should ever be forgot”
