BATHROOM | ENSUITES RED ZONE

Red cloths are used in this area. Final check to make sure the areas are clean and tidy. Any touch ups must be made before mopping. GOOD JOB!

Dust off cobwebs, high areas, ledges, corners and skirting boards.

Add toilet cleaner, light scrub, disinfect toilet and surrounds, let sit.
Clean shower cubical (scrub, grout, tiles, glass and floor recess, buff/shine glass).
Vacuum floor.
Scrub bathtub and wipe clean surrounds.
Dust off or wipe down with hand brush/ cloth all wall and light fixtures.

TOOLS NEEDED

Look for cobwebs in every corner of the ceiling, air vents, light fixtures, door corners, window corners and walls. Remember to flick dust off top of door ledges with hand brush.

Dust off with hand brush all wall and light fixtures, picture frames and mounted light fixtures free of dust and cobwebs.

All Mirrors and/or glass door panels are to be sprayed & wiped down clean then polished streak-free. Use Metho with a dry cloth at the polishing stage to buff mirrors and/or glass surfaces.

Spray & Wipe down light switches, power points, window sills, ledges, doors back front, door handles to remove dust, grime, finger marks. Don’t forget to check the areas surrounding these points and keep them maintained as well.

Prepare toilets with a light scrub, then spray disinfectant and let it sit ready for cleaning later.

When cleaning shower cubical it is important to target mould and dark areas of the grout, all surfaces should be smooth to the touch once cleaned. All shiny surfaces should be polished down.

Scrub, spray and wipe bathtub clean and make sure all surrounding tiles and tapware are cleaned and polished.

When cleaning toilets start with the top tank then wipe back to the front of the bottom side of the toilet, then wipe from the bottom to the top of the toilet, then scrub inside, wipe sits and lids, fold toilet paper.

Clean vanity units and surrounds, make sure to run the toothbrush around the base and underneath the tap fittings and around the sink plughole, remove any hairs from the drain. Make sure the area is dry and watermark free.

Empty, spray, wipe and reline bins.

When tidying up and presenting your area please make sure it looks clean and polished, all points on the list have to be covered before moving onto vacuuming.

Remove vacuum piping to use vacuum nozzle around corners and edges before vacuuming the centre of the room.

When mopping, mop around the edge of the room first. Gently move items out of the way then place item back carefully once surface has been mopped.

DUSTING AREAS

Change/Make bed and tidy up the surrounding areas to make presentational REMEMBER - We ONLY change one bed which is complimentary to the customer. Mainly the master bedroom. Any extra beds to made is extra charge and must be booked in with office.

Dust off upholstery and look for crumbs in the cracks of the couches. ONLY vacuum if customer provides vacuum and approved in special instructions by office. Place the pillows back in the presentational configuration.

Clean down kettles, toasters and microwaves.

Tidy up area making it neat and presentable.

Dust off with hand brush all wall and light fixtures.

Spray and wipe range hood with general purpose if safe to reach.

Clean cupboard fronts, counter tops, stovetops and door handles.

Wipe down furniture and/or the kitchen area.

Spray and wipe range hood with general purpose if safe to reach. Use ladder if accessible.If surface is really greasy pre spray surface and leave sit for 10-15 mins.

Wipe all surfaces: stovetops, cupboard fronts, bench tops and baseboards. Clean countertops, underneath and behind containers and ornaments/appliances permitted to be moved safely.

Clean down to remove dust and stains of kettles, toasters and microwaves. Remember to remove crumbs from toasters catcher and shake toaster into bin or sink for extra crumbs. In the microwave it is important to target the roof of the appliance and clean glass plate.

Scrub-clean using jiff/cream cleanser and scrubbing pad free of scum, mould, debris from sink area. Dry polish, sink, tapware, and drain Make sure sink areas dry and watermark free.

Spray & Wipe down furniture in the kitchen area, like tables and stools, to remove any dust or finger marks.
