EGYPS OPENING CEREMONY HIGHLIGHTS EGYPT’S TANGIBLE SUCCESSES One of the most anticipated events in the oil and gas industry, The Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS) once again takes us on a journey of continuous milestones and breakthroughs. EGYPS has become an embodiment of the industry’s unbridled success and its opening ceremony proclaimed all its accomplishments and set it forth to celebrate it with all the industry leaders. The third annual edition, opened on Monday 11 February at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre’s Al Manara Theatre, showcased the emerging and growing importance of the region’s potential. The Ministry of
Petroleum and Mineral Resources along with EGYPS executive and technical committees, industry supporters, advocates and partners, incubated the event to offer a unique breadth of insight, connecting policy, strategy, and technical leadership across all elements of the energy value chain. This step towards a new age of the energy industry was taken in the presence of Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly; Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla; the Secretary General of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), His Excellency Dr.
