الٌوم ..وزٌر الطٌران المدنى فى وداع أولى رحالت حج القرعة بالصالة الموسمٌة
كتب محمد طنطاوى ٌشهد الفرٌق ٌونس المصرى وزٌر الطٌران المدنى بمطار القاهرة الدولى ظهر الٌوم الخمٌس انطالق أولى رحالت حج القرعة من الصالة الموسمٌة ،فى احتفالٌة تنظمها مصر للطٌران. وقالت مصادر بمطار القاهرة الدولى ،إنه سٌتم تنظٌم احتفالٌة بحضور قٌادات وزارة الطٌران لوداع أول األفواج ،مشٌرة إلى أنه تم وضع كافة االستعدادات التنظٌمٌة لتسهٌل اإلجراءات على الحجاج المسافرٌن إلى األراضى المقدسة ،وذلك من خالل تجهٌز عربات نقل الحقائب واألمتعة وإضافة عدد من العاملٌن لتٌسٌر إجراءات السفر وتقدٌم المعلومات الالزمة للحجاج. وقال الطٌار أحمد عادل ،رئٌس الشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران ،إنه من المتوقع أن تنقل الشركة الوطنٌة نحو 50ألف حاج من حجاج األفراد والسٌاحة والهٌئات الحكومٌة وحجاج القرعة والتضامن ،وكذلك حجاج الترانزٌت على متن 200رحلة جوٌة. وأشار شرٌف عزت رئٌس شركة مصر للخطوط الجوٌة ،إلى أنه من المقرر أن تبدأ مرحلة ً اعتبارا من غدا الخمٌس السفر من مبنى الرحالت الموسمٌة بمطار القاهرة إلى المدٌنة المنورة لسفر حجاج قرعة محافظتى الجٌزة وبورسعٌد ،حٌث تنظم الشركة 16رحلة جوٌة إلى المدٌنة المنورة لنقل 3780حاجا.

الٌوم ..أول فوج لحجاج الجمعٌات ٌغادر مطار القاهرة أكدت غادة والى وزٌرة التضامن االجتماعى ،أن أول فوج لحجاج الجمعٌات ٌغادر مطار القاهرة إلى المدٌنة المنورة الٌوم الخمٌس ،وتابعت الوزٌرة آخر االستعدادات الخاصة ببدء التفوٌج لحجاج الجمعٌات إلى األراضى المقدسة. وشددت والى ،على اتخاذ اإلجراءات التى من شؤنها مساعدة الحجٌج وتقدٌم التسهٌالت الالزمة من لحظة وصولهم للمطارات المصرٌة ومنحهم العناٌة الالزمة خاصة لكبار السن وذوى األمراض ،والعمل على التنسٌق التام مع السلطات السعودٌة لتٌسٌر الخدمات لضٌوف الرحمن، كما شددت من قبل على أعضاء البعثة الرسمٌة للوزارة بااللتزام بالتعلٌمات الصادرة عن السلطات المصرٌة والسعودٌة. وأضافت الوزٌرة ،أن موسم الحج سٌشهد العدٌد من اإلجراءات التى من شؤنها التٌسٌر على الحجٌج أداء المناسك؛ ومنها التعاقد على وسائل انتقال للحجٌج جمٌعها مودٌالت حدٌثة ومكٌفة، وكذلك المخٌمات ستكون مكٌفة ومجهزة لخدمة الحجاج ،وأن مواقف األوتوبٌسات ستكون قرٌبة من المخٌمات بعرفات للحد من مشقة التنقل ،وللقضاء على مشكلة تخلف بعض الحجٌج نتٌجة الزحام الشدٌد بالمشاعر فى منى وعرفات. وكان أٌمن عبد الموجود رئٌس اإلدارة المركزٌة للجمعٌات ،قد أكد أن سفر أول أفواج الحجاج والذى ٌبلغ عددهم 700حاج سٌكون الٌوم الخمٌس إلى مدٌنة المنورة ثم التوجه إلى مكة المكرمة تمهٌ ًدا لتؤدٌة مناسك الحج لعدد 454من محافظة الجٌزة178 ،من دمٌاط 41 ،من المإسسة القومٌة ،ثم سفر 357حاجا ً من المنوفٌة ٌوم الجمعة 3من أغسطس 90 ،من بورسعٌد 89 ،من الدقهلٌة 96 ،من المنوفٌة ،ثم تفوٌج 321من محافظة القاهرة ٌوم السبت 4 من أغسطس 98 ،من الجٌزة 134 ،من اإلسماعٌلٌة وً 86 حاجا من السوٌس. وأضاف ،أن بعثة الوزارة سوف تتلقى مقترحات وشكاوى الحجاج طوال فترة إقامتهم باألراضى المقدسة علما ً بؤن رقم البعثة هو ( )00966563593425مع التنبٌه باتخاذ كافة اإلجراءات لتذلٌل أى عقبات تواجه الحجاج مع تحسٌن مستوى الخدمات فى أماكن تؤدٌة المشاعر المقدسة، مضٌ ًفا أنه تم التنسٌق مع وزارة الصحة بشؤن توقٌع الكشف الطبى على الحجٌج ،والتنسٌق مع ً واعظا وزارة األوقاف لتوعٌة الحجٌج بشروط أداء مناسك الحج وآدابه ،حٌث تم تخصٌص 15 للتوعٌة بالمناسك

«مصر للطٌران» تنقل 14ألف راكب على متن 98رحلة خالل 24ساعة حمدي بكري
نقلت الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،نحو 14ألفا و 700راكب من جمٌع الجنسٌات ،خالل الـ 24ساعة الماضٌة ،على متن 98رحلة داخلٌة ودولٌة، أقلعت من مطار القاهرة الدولً. وقال مصدر :إن الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،سٌرت منذ بداٌة الٌوم األربعاء، 98رحلة إلى المطارات الداخلٌة والعواصم العربٌة واألوروبٌة ،فً حالة انتظام حسب جدول التشغٌل ،ودون إلغاء أي رحلة مقررة.

مطار القاهرة ٌستقبل 29ألف راكب على متن 196رحلة خالل 24ساعة حمدي بكري استقبل مطار القاهرة الدولً ،خالل الـ 24ساعة الماضٌة 196رحالت جوٌة دولٌة وداخلٌة سٌرتها الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،وعدد من شركات الطٌران المصرٌة والعالمٌة ،من العواصم والمدن العالمٌة والمطارات الداخلٌة المصرٌة. وأكد مصدر مالحى ،أن المطار شهد وصول 29ألفا و 400راكب على متن 196رحلة خالل 24ساعة. وأضاف المصدر ،أنه تم تٌسٌر خروج الركاب من جمٌع صاالت الوصول بالمطار عقب انتهاء إجراءات التفتٌش المتبعة.

مطار الخرطوم :هبوط طائرة بعد بالغ بوجود قنبلة أعلن الناطق الرسمً باسم مطار الخرطوم الدولً ،محمد المهدي نصر الدٌن عبدون ،أنه فً تمام الساعة العاشرة و 20دقٌقة صباحا بالتوقٌت المحلً للسودان ،تلقى برج المراقبة بمطار الخرطوم اتصاال من قائد طائرة شركة بدر من طراز بونٌج 737القادمة من نٌاال فً طرٌقها للخرطوم ٌفٌد بأنه استلم إشارة من مجهول بوجود قنبلة على متن الطائرة وٌطلب استعداد المطار التخاذ اإلجراءات الالزمة. وقال المهدي لوكالة أنباء السودان "سونا" ،ان الطائرة هبطت بسالم حٌث تم تفتٌش الطائرة ولم ٌسفر عن وجود أي مهدد أمنً علما بؤنها كانت تحمل مائة وعشرة من الركاب إضافة إلى طاقمها المكون من ثمانٌة أشخاص ،وهذا وستواصل إدارة المطار مع سلطة الطٌران المدنً التنسٌق للحد من هذه الحاالت.

طوارئ فى مطار برشلونة بعد انفجار "بطارٌة هاتف” أخلت السلطات فى مطار ببرشلونة ،الٌوم األربعاء ،طائرة ركاب تابعة لخطوط طٌران "راٌان إٌر" بعد اشتعال بطارٌة شحن هاتف قبل اإلقالع. وأوضح متحدث باسم الشركة فى بٌان ،أنه "تم إخالء ركاب رحلة من برشلونة إلى إٌبٌزا فى مطار "إٌل برات" فى برشلونة بسبب حرٌق نشب فى هاتف كان فى وضعٌة الشحن عبر بطارٌة خارجٌةٌ ،عتقد أنها لراكب من نٌوزٌلندا. وأشار إلى أنه تم إجالء جمٌع الركاب من الطائرة بطرٌقة آمنة إلى صالة المطار بٌنما احتفظ طاقم الطائرة بالبطارٌة المتسببة فى الحادث. وذكرت الشركة أنها تعمل على تنظٌم طائرة بدٌلة لنقل الركاب إلى وجهتهم فى أسرع وقت ممكن.مشٌرة إلى أن الراكب فى الصف األول تمكن من فتح باب الطوارئ قبل أن ٌقوم الطٌار بتفعٌل سلم الطوارئ ،حٌث اضطر الركاب لالنتظار فى المطار بٌنما تم إخالء الطائرة من األمتعة. وأكد البٌان أنه لم ٌصب أى راكب بؤذى نتٌجة الحرٌق ،كما لم ٌتم استدعاء رجال اإلطفاء إلى مدرج المطار أثناء الحادث. وأظهر فٌدٌو التقطه أحد الركاب البطارٌة الخارجٌة وهى تشتعل بٌنما تم فصلها عن الهاتف، فى حٌن أصٌب الركاب بحالة من الرعب والفزع.

EgyptAir to operate flights to carry 50K pilgrims
EgyptAir will begin operating flights to carry more than 50,000 pilgrims to perform Hajj rituals in Saudi Arabia as of Wednesday. Chairman of the national carrier company Sherif Ezzat said that the company is scheduled to fly pilgrims from both North and South Sinai to Jeddan International Airport on Wednesday, while the first flight to Medina will take off Thursday carrying pilgrims from Giza and Port Said governorates. The hajj, a five-day ritual which retraces the journey of Prophet Mohammad that took place 14 centuries ago, is a religious duty that should be carried out once in a lifetime for every able-bodied Muslim who can afford it. It is the world's largest annual Muslim gathering, with over 2.3 million people attending this year. The faithful come from nearly every country in the world, speaking dozens of languages and sometimes practicing Islam in different ways based on local customs or traditions.

Under the new service, the airline has introduced a culinary experience on its flights above 7 hours that will see the best African chefs develop onboard menus. Singapore Airlines' budget arm Scoot to hike fares as fuel costs rise Singapore Airlines Ltd’s budget arm Scoot said on Thursday it would raise fares across its network by an average of about 5 percent in response to a surge in oil prices that had pushed up costs.
The fare hike, effective Sept. 1, will add $5 to S$30 ($3.66 to $21.98) to the cost of each one-way journey depending on the flight duration, the airline said in a statement. Carriers around the world are attempting to raise fares to help recoup the rising cost of fuel, with the oil price up 40 percent to $73 a barrel over the last year.

2 The International Air Transport Association (IATA) in June forecast average passenger yields, a proxy for air fares, would rise by 3.2 percent this year, in the first annual gain since 2011 but lowered its annual profit estimate due to the rising cost of fuel and labor. Air New Zealand Ltd in May announced a 5 percent increase in domestic fares due to rising costs, while regulators in Japan and Taiwan have allowed airlines to put in place fuel surcharges to help compensate for the higher oil price. Singapore Airlines last week reported a 3.2 percent decline in passenger yields for the quarter ended June 30, including a 1.8 percent fall at Scoot, disappointing investors who had hoped for fare increases. Scoot on Thursday said it would look to cut costs in addition to raising fares, with initiatives being considered including exploring ways to reduce fuel burn, reviewing supplier contracts and using measures to increase productivity. The airline said fuel comprised an average of 32 percent of its operating costs and its fuel costs had risen by 31 percent compared to a year earlier. Scoot reported a S$1 million profit in the June quarter, down from S$3 million a year earlier. Singapore Airlines said there were no plans for the parent airline and its regional arm SilkAir to follow Scoot’s lead and announce specific fare rises in response to higher oil prices.

Lufthansa Group First Half-year Revenues Up by 5.2% Lufthansa Group boosted revenues in the first half of 2018 by 5.2 percent driven by stronger passenger, flight and seat load, the company said on Tuesday. Europe’s largest carrier reported that first half-year revenues came to 16.9 billion euros, roughly in line with last year with adjusted EBIT at 1,008 million euros only just below the prior-year period while net income remained stable at 677 million euros compared to 672 million euros in the same period last year. It said it had carried 67 million passengers, a new record for the period. On the down side, rising costs due to air traffic control strikes, staffing issues, and bad weather had a negative impact on first half-year earnings. Lufthansa said it expected a slightly weaker capacity growth this year to 8 percent from the initially forecast 8.5 percent, due to Eurowings, citing a delay in bringing 77 Air Berlin planes up to Lufthansa’s standards and 120 million euros in integration costs in the first half of the year, with an additional 50 million euros expected in the third quarter. Eurowings, which raised its total first half-year revenues to 1.9 billion euros, up by 9.2 percent on the prior-year period, is aiming to return to profit next year. The Cologne-based airline, Germany’s largest, also raised ticket rate forecasts for the rest of the year, due to growing demand on German and North Atlantic routes following the exit of rival Air Berlin. “

Italy’s flag carrier launched insolvency proceedings last year. Lufthansa submitted a bid for the carrier in April, along with EasyJet.

Lufthansa reports robust growth in Q2 financial report Germany-based Lufthansa reported solid results for its logistics division for 1H 2018, with earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) up 48 percent yearover-year to €125 million, from €84 million on revenues that were up 12.3 percent to €1.3 billion. The carrier’s traffic rose only slightly in the first six months of 2018, with reported revenue tonne kilometers (RTKs) up 2.9 percent, to 4.4 billion from 4.3 billion the year prior. Lufthansa noted that sharp traffic increases in 2017 make annual comparisons more difficult this year for the The logistics sector includes subsidiaries Lufthansa Cargo, Jettainer, time:matters and an equity investment in AeroLogic. While Lufthansa’s logistics division growth may be slowing down, it is symptomatic of the state of demand for air freight in Europe. Out of the six regions the International Air Transport Association (IATA) measures by traffic growth in cargo tonne kilometers since last year, Europe came in second-to-last at 4.5 percent – with growth outpacing only the Middle East. Improvements to the division’s earnings meanwhile, came in part, from lower operating costs. A 2016 cost-cutting goal of “sustainably” cutting expenses by €80 million before 2018 year-end for one, has already been achieved, according to the airline. Looking ahead, the airline is moving forward with a number of modernization plans. The carrier plans to expand cool-chain capacity at its Frankfurt Hub – capitalizing on demand for transportation of temperaturesensitive pharma – which it said will be underway by the end of the year. Next spring, the carrier will also take the next step in its fleet modernization program with the introduction of two new 777Fs, which will replace some of Lufthansa Cargo’s older MD-11Fs. The carrier’s freighter fleet currently comprises of five 777Fs and twelve MD-11Fs.

North Atlantic tailwinds lift Lufthansa revenue outlook Lufthansa (LHAG.DE) raised its ticket price forecasts for the rest of 2018 on Tuesday as the demise of rival Air Berlin drove demand on German and North Atlantic routes, lifting its shares. Germany’s dominant airline said it now expected a slight increase in unit revenues, which measures pricing, against a previous stable forecast. “We have turned more positive on top line performance,” Chief Financial Officer Ulrik Svensson said, citing good booking data for the normally busy third quarter. While short-haul rivals such as easyJet (EZJ.L), Ryanair (RYA.I) and Laudamotion have scrambled to fill the gap left by Air Berlin on routes out of Germany and Austria, Lufthansa remains dominant on the more lucrative long-haul routes. Its positive comments on pricing could also be a good signal for IAG (ICAG.L), which owns British Airways and Iberia and which reports its results on Friday, Goodbody analysts said. Lufthansa shares rose almost 7 percent, their biggest jump in 1.5 years, while IAG and Air France-KLM (AIRF.PA), which reports on Wednesday, rose by more than 2 percent. Like others, Lufthansa has suffered disruption from air traffic control strikes, staffing issues and bad weather, leading to extra costs of 70 to 80 million euros in the second quarter, and Svensson said it would invest more in reserve crews and aircraft in the future. EasyJet has said it will invest more into its standby reserves, while IAG’s Vueling unit is expected to have been hit especially hard by the ATC strikes.

2 EUROWINGS WEIGHS Despite the more positive pricing outlook, the costs of expanding its Eurowings budget unit and a higher fuel price mean Lufthansa will not see the benefit in its bottom line. It maintained its forecast for 2018 adjusted earnings before interest and tax to fall slightly from 2017’s record level of 2.97 billion euros ($3.5 billion) and said unit costs would be down 1 percent, against a previous 1 to 2 percent target. The airline again reduced its forecast for capacity growth this year, to 8 percent from 8.5 percent, due to Eurowings. Svensson said it had taken longer than expected to bring 77 Air Berlin planes up to Lufthansa’s standards, causing delays and cancellations. Integration costs for Eurowings hit 120 million euros in the first half, and it expects a further 50 million in the third quarter. Eurowings is targeting a return to profit next year. Lufthansa reported second quarter adjusted EBIT of 982 million euros, against expectations of 942 million euros.

A plane carrying 103 people crashed then burned in Mexico and no one died An Aeromexico flight carrying 103 people crashed just after taking off from an airport in northern Mexico, forcing passengers to escape via the emergency slides before the aircraft went up in flames. No one died. Dozens were injured, Durango state officials said, and it appears that a strong wind brought down Flight 2431. "The control tower noticed strong wind currents, and this could have caused the accident," Durango Gov. Jose Aispuro said Tuesday night in a news conference. The plane was en route Tuesday from Durango to Mexico City when it rapidly descended after takeoff, airline and state officials said.

2 The left wing of the twin-engine jet initially touched the ground, causing the plane to lose both engines. The plane then skidded off the runway at General Guadalupe Victoria International Airport, stopping about 300 meters (1,000 feet) away, Aispuro said. It felt like the aircraft was battling the heavy rain and wind before it hit the ground twice during the crash, said Anabel Estrada, a passenger from Joliet, Illinois. "The second impact was a lot stronger. This is when I jumped and hit my head against the ceiling," Estrada said. "After the second impact, I saw flames in the cabin ahead of me." All passengers and crew members evacuated the plane using its emergency evacuation slides before fire engulfed the aircraft, officials said.

4 Embraer, the Brazilian maker of the aircraft, stands ready to assist the Mexican authorities in their investigations, the company said. Aeromexico has operated the 10-year-old aircraft since 2014, the airline said. Durango is more than 550 miles northwest of Mexico City.
