ICE CREAM RUN
When: May 8, 7 – 8:30 a.m. Where: Rio Vista Park, 8866 W. Thunderbird Rd. in Peoria What: Tortoise and Hare Sports is bringing the whole family to enjoy a four-mile run/walk and kids sundae sprint. Celebrate with Rita’s ice cream at the finish! Run includes a custom finisher’s medal, official event shirt, ICR sticker, ice cream bowl and spoon.
LIBRARY MURDER MYSTERY PARTY
When: May 12, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Where: Zoom What: The librarians of Peoria Public Library thought they were in for a quiet night when the unthinkable happened --a dead body was found hidden behind the bookshelves! Now, the librarians are counting on YOU, the best and brightest minds in all of Peoria, to piece together the clues and figure out who the murderer is … before he or she strikes again! At this Zoom murder mystery party, participants must work together to
solve the mystery before time runs out. Our setting is the library, so literarythemed costumes are encouraged! Come dressed as your favorite author, book character, or librarian. Find more information online at peoriapubliclibrary.org.
