This week has been a wonderful celebration of achievement and creativity across our school community We began on Monday with the Super League National Swim Gala, where our swimmers displayed outstanding skill and determination. Well done to all who represented the school so proudly Throughout the week, our Year 11 pupils have been taking part in Beyond GCSEs meetings, exploring future pathways and career options These conversations are an important part of helping them plan for the next stage of their education, and we are grateful to staff for their guidance and support.
Wednesday brought a touch of winter with a light snow flurry to start the day, adding a seasonal sparkle to the site On Thursday and Friday, the Performing Arts Department delivered an exceptional production of Animal Farm A huge thank you to the team for their hard work and creativity, and to every pupil involved for bringing this classic story to life so brilliantly We rounded off the week with a Maths Masterclass on Friday, inspiring younger pupils to stretch their thinking and deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts.

Our boarders have had a fantastic term so far, with a number of enjoyable trips and activities. Ice skating proved to be a real highlight, and the shopping trip to Westfield was a great success! The house is now beautifully decorated for Christmas, adding to the festive spirit. We are also very much looking forward to supporting the school production this week and celebrating the hard work of everyone involved.
