ST TERESA’S Bulletin Issue 3
Summer Term
8th May 2026
Dear Parents, I hope our Year 5 parents (particularly those with twins) have had a restful week while their daughters have been away with Mrs Baker, Mrs Hall and myself on the Year 5 PGL residential trip at Osmington Bay, Dorset. More about that in the following pages. My thanks to Mrs Gibson and Mrs Johnson for holding down the fort while I've been away. I hear Year 6 continue to make strong headway in their Hola Mexico topic and related work in English around the planet Pandora. They are also working extremely hard on their lines and staging for next half term’s production of The Wizard of Oz. Mrs G would like to congratulate the girls who were invited to join the Senior School music ensembles last term. Amelia H has joined the Symphony Orchestra on cello and Sophia C and Ania S are playing violin with the Senior String Ensemble. This week we enjoyed their first performances of the more advanced repertoire. Well done, girls! We are looking forward to next week and being back in school together for the week, before Year 6 head off on their French residential trip the following week. Please note the diary dates later in this bulletin. Notably, class photos on Tuesday and then end of term dates for the production and prize giving. There are transition events for Year 5 parents to consider for Year 7 scholarship application, and Year 6 moving up day to prepare for life in Senior School. I find myself reflecting similarly throughout these bulletins across the year, but there are 7 weeks of school left for this academic year. 35 days! Wishing you all a sunny and peaceful weekend ahead. Best wishes, Gareth Tindall
