Senior Chronicle YOUR ESSENTIAL ROUND-UP FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 15 JUNE 2026 Message from the Headmaster It has been a vibrant and rewarding week at Cranmore, with pupils across the school embracing a rich and varied programme of opportunities. Year 9 returned from a highly successful Duke of Edinburgh expedition in the Surrey Hills, where they demonstrated admirable teamwork, resilience and independence. Year 8 enjoyed an energetic outdoor pursuits day, with their enthusiasm and positive attitude widely praised. Year 7 pupils took part in their first Mini First Aid course, gaining invaluable lifesaving skills, and also represented the school at a Trust-wide quiz, relishing the opportunity to collaborate with their peers. Across the Senior School, pupils engaged enthusiastically in the Bebras Coding Challenge, further strengthening their problem-solving and computational thinking. In music, this year’s Young Musician Finals have showcased an exceptional standard, with a wealth of truly memorable performances. In sport, there has also been notable success at county level, with a pupil achieving an outstanding result at the Surrey Schools Championships and earning selection for further representative honours. Altogether, it has been a week that reflects both the breadth of opportunity at Cranmore and the excellent attitude and commitment of our pupils. Mr Everitt
