Senior Chronicle YOUR ESSENTIAL ROUND-UP FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 1 JUNE 2026 Message from the Headmaster I hope that all our families enjoyed a restorative half-term break, particularly given the exceptionally warm and sunny weather. It has been a pleasure to see the pupils return and bring the school back to life this week. We are mindful that, as pupils receive the results of the examinations they sat before the break, it is important that they are encouraged to look beyond the headline result and engage thoughtfully with the process of reviewing their assessments. We want to help pupils understand their strengths, identify areas for development and, crucially, apply that learning as they move forward. Developing this mindset is key to building both academic confidence and long-term success. This half term is set to be a particularly busy and enriching period, with a wide range of trips and experiences planned. This week, one such opportunity saw Year 7 pupils taking part in a workshop on endangered species, while also enjoying some of the rides and attractions at Chessington. I wish all those pupils competing this Saturday in the IAPS National Final at the London Aquatics Centre every success. I look forward to sharing many highlights from what promises to be a vibrant and engaging half term. Mr Everitt
