“Green Economy: Investing in a Sustainable Future” Date: 26 February 2024 Venue: Effat Library and Cultural Museum, Effat University, Jeddah, KSA Mode: Physical and Virtual The 9th International Islamic Finance Conference (IIFC2023) will bring together scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide to explore the theme of "Green Economy: Investing in a Sustainable Future." The conference will showcase the potential of Islamic finance in promoting sustainable development and its role in addressing social and environmental challenges. The conference will feature presentations and discussions on various subthemes, including the Islamic green economy, environmental sustainability, social welfare, technology, ethical business practices, and green economy management. We invite original research papers, case studies, and policy proposals that contribute to understanding Islamic finance's impact on the green economy and its potential to shape a sustainable future. All submissions to the 9th International Islamic Finance Conference (IIFC2023) must be original and unpublished research papers written in English and should not exceed 8,000 words. All papers will undergo a blind peer-review process to ensure their quality and relevance to the conference theme and subthemes. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and considered for publication in the conference partners' journals. We encourage researchers and scholars to submit their research papers and contribute to advancing Islamic finance's potential to promote sustainable development and positively impact society and the environment.
