The 9th International Islamic Finance Conference (IIFC2023) will bring together scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide to explore the theme of "Green Economy: Investing in a Sustainable Future." The conference will showcase the potential of Islamic finance in promoting sustainable development and its role in addressing social and environmental challenges.
The conference will feature presentations and discussions on various subthemes, including the Islamic green economy, environmental sustainability, social welfare, technology, ethical business practices, and green economy management. We invite original research papers, case studies, and policy proposals that contribute to understanding Islamic finance's impact on the green economy and its potential to shape a sustainable future.
All submissions to the 9th International Islamic Finance Conference (IIFC2023) must be original and unpublished research papers written in English and should not exceed 8,000 words. All papers will undergo a blind peer-review process to ensure their quality and relevance to the conference theme and subthemes. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and considered for publication in the conference partners' journals. We encourage researchers and scholars to submit their research papers and contribute to advancing Islamic finance's potential to promote sustainable development and positively impact society and the environment.


Academics, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, Islamic finance professionals, scholars, regulators, and students are invited to contribute to the conference. We encourage submissions from various disciplines, including finance, economics, accounting, law, environmental studies, and Islamic finance.

CONFERENCE TOPICS
The 9th International Finance Conference (IIFC2023) themes may include, but are not limited to the following tracks:
- Track # 1: Islamic Green Economy
This track will explore the intersection of Islamic finance, entrepreneurship, and a green economy, focusing on how entrepreneurial ventures within the Islamic financial framework can contribute to environmental sustainability. Discussions may include innovative Shariacompliant green startups, investment opportunities for eco-friendly businesses, and the role of entrepreneurship in addressing environmental challenges while adhering to Islamic financial principles. Additionally, participants will explore sustainable supply chain management practices and marketing strategies within the context of Islamic finance, emphasizing the holistic approach to building a green and economically viable ecosystem.
- Track # 2: Policy and Regulation for a Green Economy
Within this track, discussions will not only encompass the regulatory aspects of finance in a green economy but also explore how policies and regulations influence entrepreneurial initiatives, supply chain management, and marketing strategies. Participants will delve into the role of governments in incentivizing and regulating environmentally responsible business practices within the Islamic finance framework. Topics may include Sharia-compliant supply chain regulations, policies promoting green entrepreneurship, and the marketing implications of adhering to Islamic finance principles in a regulated green economy.

- Track # 3: Green and Sustainable Finance in the Digital Age
This track will extend its focus to explore how digital advancements within finance can facilitate entrepreneurship, sustainable supply chain management, and marketing in the digital age. Participants will discuss the role of fintech in supporting entrepreneurial ventures that align with Islamic finance principles, the application of digital tools in enhancing supply chain transparency within Sharia-compliant frameworks, and the use of digital marketing to promote environmentally responsible finance products. The discussions aim to highlight the synergies between digital innovation, entrepreneurship, supply chain management, and marketing in fostering a green and sustainable finance ecosystem.

Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically using the online conference system EasyChair. If you have used this system before, you may use the same login details. Upon completion of registration, you will receive a notification email from EasyChair, after which you will need to log in and submit your paper in pdf format. Please follow the APA format for structuring paper submissions. All papers will be reviewed through a blind review process.
