The Sippin’ on Sunshine fabric kit includes a Fat Quarter (FQ) of SKU MAS8261-P (above) rather than the 1/4-yard cut that the pattern calls for. Never fear! You still have enough fabric to make the inner border for your Sippin’ on Sunshine quilt. Please see below for alternate cutting directions.
Alternate cutting directions - BLOCK BY BLOCK
1. Cut (8)strips, 2” x 18” from the FQ.
2. Sew 2 strips together on the short ends.
3. Press seam open.
4. Repeat to create 4 border strips. (Four sets of two strips sewn together)
5. Refer to the pattern instructions to attach the side, top and bottom border strips.

1. Cut (8) strips, 1.5” x 18” from the FQ.
2. Sew 2 strips together on the short ends.
3. Press seam open.
4. Repeat to create 4 border strips. (Four sets of two strips sewn together)
