Within the next few years I plan to start my future career in cosmetology. I start august 8th at Lindsey Institute of Cosmetology in Bowling Green Kentucky. I look forward to this career path because I get to put a smile on others' faces. It is extremely important to see others feel beautiful in their own skin. The eDynamic Learnings curriculum has helped prepare me for my future career by giving me a background of what I will do/learn in cosmetology. I have been able to learn part of the anatomy behind the human body, as well as how to discover any disease or fungus. This has prepared me in a great way because I think the human body is the most important thing. You have to be able to understand it in order to proceed with cosmetology. The eDynamic course has helped me with correct posture and it has improved my everyday life. It has given me a great background on color pigments of hair and what is used to fix unwanted colors. It has also been very helpful with the style going on nowadays, because it asks to research the new trends in the world. I decided about 2 years ago I wanted to go into the cosmetology field. I started trying to prepare by taking 3 classes through eDynamic.I can say these classes have helped me so much. I have been able to practice with hair and nails and get a feel for what I will like best. I have always been one to do my friends' hair if we were doing something. I am a senior in high school and I have 4 class periods a day, my 5th class of the day I co-op. I co-op at “Parlor on Main” located in Gamaliel kentucky. I consider this an internship because I am getting experience in what I will be doing. Doing this has really benefited me because I get to see what working/owning my own salon would be like. This salon is where I hope to get my first job after graduating cosmetology and passing my state boards. Working with Mary has prepared me for owning my own salon, seeing men and women leave her salon with a smile makes me so excited for my future to come. I look forward to starting at my dream school in august to further my education. I’m excited to meet new people and make memories that will last a lifetime. I have been so blessed with the opportunity to take these classes through eDynamic and I will recommend this to any underclassman.
