eDynamic Passion to Purpose Scholarship Essay My name is Brinley and I am a senior at Monroe County High School. I have always been interested in becoming a veterinarian, and when I found out my school offers a veterinary science eDynamic course I was very excited. I thoroughly enjoyed my eDynamic course and would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in taking one. The curriculum was interesting and I learned so much throughout my course. It was challenging, yet rewarding because I really enjoyed the topics and curriculum I studied. eDynamic curriculum helped guide me in a career discovery to match my interests and skills to a rewarding profession. I have always been interested in being a veterinarian and the Veterinary Science course thoroughly matched my interests and pushed me to learn more about this field. I learned that my skills aligned with what I was learning and I was able to use my prior knowledge and apply it to the class. I had never taken anything like this course before and had never really been able to learn anything quite like I did in the Veterinary Science class. One specific lesson in my eDynamic course that helped me uncover details about a career was the Small Animal unit. I have always wanted to be a small animal veterinarian and I was able to learn many valuable things from this unit about this career. I loved learning about things that I could possibly use in my future career. Another lesson that helped me uncover details about a career was the Holistic Medicine unit. I did not really know much about holistic treatments before I had taken this class and did not realize that some veterinarians use holistic treatments rather than traditional medicine, so it was really cool to see both sides and compare the two.
