LESSON PLAN OVERVIEW Career: A Financial Analyst can help individuals and companies in many aspects of money, including investing money to make more money and evaluating trends. Financial analysts are also responsible for tracking a company's financial situation. Lesson: This lesson will introduce students to the career of a Financial Analyst by learning the basics of money. Students will learn to recognize and identify the value of different denominations. Students will also learn the link between money and the ability to make purchases. Students will learn to recognize and identify coins and bills and how to add and subtract using money. Grade Level: Elementary Grades Learning Objectives: 〉 〉 〉 〉
Students will explore the role of a Financial Analyst through the recognition and value of money. Students will identify different denominations of money and add and subtract money. Students will learn the connection between money and buying goods and services through role playing. Students will gain an insight into the Financial Analyst career, including common job tasks, salary, career pathway, and credentials required to perform the job.
