COLORADO Colorado is magical. If you like sunshine, physical activity, nature, adventure, history and exploration (and who doesn’t!), you will love living in this state. From the Mile-High City of Denver to more than 4,200 meters of ski terrain – there is never a shortage of things to do or beauty to behold in Colorado. Colorado has tremendous geographic diversity. Forty percent of the state is made up of the Eastern Plains, a region known for agriculture and livestock. Southern Colorado is home to the tallest dunes in North America, the Great Sand Dunes. The Western Slope is known for its orchards and wineries. This state also offers 300 days of sun a year, making it one of the country’s sunniest states. Also, they have a long and fascinating history. Mesa Verde National Park is one of the most interesting archeological sites in the world.

“I LOVE COLORADO. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO HERE. WE GO AND EXPLORE ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND AND THERE IS STILL SO MUCH I HAVEN'T SEEN YET. SCHOOL IS SO MUCH FUN AND EASIER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. THE TEACHERS ARE NICE AND HELP US EXCHANGE STUDENTS. I HAVE PLAYED FOOTBALL AND NOW RUGBY. MY FAMILY LOVES TO CYCLE ALL OVER COLORADO'S TRAILS AND I THINK IT IS THE BEST WAY TO SEE THE STATE. IF I KNEW WHAT I KNOW NOW, I WOULD HAVE REQUESTED TO COME TO COLORADO. IT REALLY IS A SECRET THAT EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW” - MATTHIAS
