The EF English Proficiency Index (EF EPI) is the world’s largest ranking of countries by English skills. Now in its sixth edition, the EF EPI collates data from the millions of people who take the EFSET to produce a unique comparison on English proficiency around the world.

In addition to the EF EPI, we’ve also developed a customized report detailing the language acquisition of secondary and tertiary students. Known as the EF English Proficiency Index for Schools (EF EPI-s), the data collected helps EF conduct groundbreaking research into improving language learning in classrooms around the world.

The EF TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course equips you with the basic skills needed to teach English as a foreign language. You don’t need any previous teaching experience to apply for the EF TESOL course at EF Boston or EF Malta – you just need to test to EF English level B2 or higher.

Peer teaching You’ll prepare and present two lessons to fellow course participants. Your tutor and group will then provide feedback to help improve your teaching ability.

Certified success Successful graduates receive an EF Teacher Training Certificate, which recognizes both the theoretical and practical professional skills acquired.

An innovative Curriculum EF’s TESOL course curriculum combines theory with hands-on practical experience. Through processes including peer teaching and classroom observations, you’ll enhance your skills beyond language ﬂuency. At the end of the course, you’ll leave with knowledge of how to effectively manage and communicate in the classroom.

EF Teacher Development Certificate â€“ Free Webinar The EF Teacher Development Certificate (TDC) is a free online training program that equips language educators with new and inspiring ideas to share with their students. Teacher Seminar Event Conferences /Fairs You can request your Teacher on the Road to hold an EF Teacher Seminar, which is a locally organized event for the external teaching community in your region. Local teachers will have the chance to gain a valuable insight on a comprehensive range of topics including best practices for teaching foreign languages to integrating technology in classrooms. The New TeacherZone We are very happy to announce the redesign of our Teacher Zone website. We hope this will help all of you to push the Academic Marketing programs among teachers. The new website will be mobile adaptive and user friendly. Teachers will be able to request material, school activities, brochures, school visits and much more. Also, they will be able to subscribe to a local AM newsletter where you can inform them about the activities happening in your market. We aim to launch the new design by November 2017. Besides, we are working on brand new Teacher Blog that will be integrated on the page which we aim to launch in November. The goal of the blog is to generate new content on a weekly basis so there is an excuse for the teacher to come to visit the page every time we post a new article. Also, it will provide new content every month for your newsletters and the EF Teacher Zone facebook page.
