Last month saw the opening of RH Indianapolis, The Gallery at the DeHaan Estate, representing one of the largest, most inspiring and immersive physical expressions of the brand to date.
ntegrating the luxury home furnishing collections of RH (formerly known as Restoration Hardware) with fine art and antiques from around the globe, the newest RH gallery is an experience beyond compare. Much more than a showroom or store, this immersive hospitality experience, as RH calls it, is an elegant fusion of the past with the present and the relaxed with the refined, all on the grounds of Linden

House, the 151-acre estate previously owned by renowned philanthropist Christel DeHaan. “The DeHaan Estate is one of the most magical properties in North America, and we are honored to open its gates to the public for the first time,” says RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman. “From the immaculately groomed grounds and tree-lined driveway, to the massive stone terrace and boat dock

overlooking the lake and forest, and the perfectly proportioned rooms filled with natural light from the abundance of windows, RH Indianapolis is a place to come and dream, to be inspired by the architecture. Get lost in the views, enjoy a meal in the grand ballroom or sip a glass of wine while strolling through the gardens.” Inside the 60-room, 42,000 squarefoot Palladian-style villa overlooking a private lake, guests can explore all RH has to offer, which is much more than furniture, including a Wine Bar and The Dining Room restaurant. With an elaborate blown glass chandelier and soaring windows to capture gorgeous views of the water, gardens and surrounding park-like landscape, this stunning setting for a meal features a classic menu, offering a curated selection of lunch and dinner items, all elegantly prepared with fresh, local ingredients, along with limited production wines from famed regions and small vintners around the world. Throughout the east and west wings, the RH collections are artfully displayed in interactive lifestyle installations by acclaimed designers, along with design libraries and private presentation spaces. Guests can take the breathtaking elliptical floating staircase to the second level to view the curated bedroom suites or visit
the Lakeside Terrace to enjoy intimate outdoor lounge spaces featuring the RH outdoor collections. Chad Bruick and his team at OEG have been a part of the landscaping efforts here for many years, collaborating with Christel DeHaan to oversee projects, including the front fountains and sculpture park across the lake. Bruick says this property was her passion, and he is grateful for the opportunity to help refine her vision and bring it to life. OEG has continued to assist RH throughout the transition from a private residence to a public space, which Bruick says has been a massive yet rewarding project. “So many people don't have the opportunity to experience spaces and properties of this caliber…so it’s really a unique opportunity,” says Bruick, excited that the general public now has access to such a thoughtfully designed estate. With sleek, modern vehicles sparkling under showroom lights, Tom Roush Lincoln radiates luxury and automotive splendor. This largest Lincoln Vitrine flagship facility stands out with its luxury all-SUV lineup, but beyond new arrivals, amenities and accolades, it’s the “family” touch, as Jeff Roush calls it, that has made the dealership what it is today. Jeff Roush serves as co-owner and dealer principal of Tom Roush Automotive Group, assisting both Tom Roush Lincoln in Fishers and Tom Roush Mazda and Mitsubishi in Westfield. You’ll often find him flanked by his father, Tom, and his sons, A.J. and Tommy, on the showroom floor. “The dynamic of having three generations under one roof is indeed unique,” Jeff expresses, sharing that his father is nearly 90 years old and still makes daily appearances at the store. “Although he ceded the daily operations to me many years ago, having him around for his knowledge and experience is invaluable. Plus everybody loves him,” says Jeff. The Roush family has deep roots in the automotive industry, with Tom’s father opening a Nash franchise in Indianapolis in 1939 when the senior Roush was just a small child. Tom went on to graduate from General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan, and returned home to work for several dealerships in the city before opening his own Ford dealership and later a Mazda dealership on the southside with his then-business partner Bill Shore. In 1977, Tom moved

to Westfield and went out on his own, transitioning to Ford’s luxury Lincoln line. The rural landscape was much different than his former city digs, but he credits trusting a gut feeling that the north side population would grow and shift into what it has become today. “That’s all I’ve ever done for 70 years,” says Tom of his storied background selling cars and the evolution he has witnessed. From iconic tailfins and chrome accents in the 1950s and ‘60s, to the boxy style of the ‘70s and ‘80s, all the way to the smooth, sleek designs of the 1990s and beyond, Tom says he has seen a lot of cars come and a lot of cars go, but believes that technology and electric advancements are inevitably the way of the future. His grandsons, A.J. and Tommy, knew from an early age that they wanted to be a part of this long-term family enterprise, and they have worked their way up the ranks beginning with washing cars as kids after school. Now, A.J. oversees sales and operations at Tom Roush Mazda and Mitsubishi in Westfield, and Tommy serves as a sales manager at Tom Roush Lincoln in Fishers. Tommy agrees with his grandfather Tom regarding technology, saying it has always brought improvements throughout the progression of modern vehicles. “Change is inevitable,” he adds, “but I’m excited to see where it’s going to go from here.” He credits Lincoln for taking the time to ensure new technology is safely and effectively

Tom Roush, age 89, has dedicated his life to selling cars and has witnessed many remarkable transformations over the years. Tom Roush Automotive Group in Westfield and Tom Roush Lincoln in Fishers stand as forwardthinking dealerships, embracing the future of automotive technology with style and sophistication.
At Tom Roush Automotive Group, luxury and automotive excellence are offered with the unique touch of a three-generation family legacy. Today, co-owner and dealer principal Jeff Roush leads the charge, but his father and business founder, Tom Roush, is still on the showroom floor six days a week with wisdom and 70 years of automotive experience that adds an invaluable layer to the dealership’s dynamic. Jeff’s sons, A.J. and Tommy, are also involved, with A.J. overseeing sales and operations at Tom Roush Mazda and Mitsubishi in Westfield and Tommy serving as a sales manager at Tom Roush Lincoln in Fishers. At both stores, world-class vehicles and excellent service are not just a commitment, they are a family tradition.

Today, Jeff, his sons and his team of over 100 employees offer service and sales at both locations. “I like to think that we’ve served the public well,” says Jeff, noting that first-rate service, fair prices and the “family” touch have everything to do with success. “Nobody is a number here,” he adds, speaking both of employees and customers and noting that all are individuals with individual needs. Celebrating five years in Fishers, Tom Roush Lincoln offers world-class vehicles coupled with world-class service. At Premier Luxury Electronic Lifestyles (Suite 118, premier-group.com), customized smart homes are brought to life with the touch of a button or the sound of your voice. Offering lighting and shades, home entertainment, networking and security, Premier Group specializes in taking complex components and making them simple for the end user, creating effortless environments ideal for relaxing, entertaining or productivity. “We’re a tech company, but we’re really a creative design company,” says Jason Barth, CEO and lead designer at Premier. He adds that while there are plenty of ways to add devices and systems to preexisting structures, they often collaborate with architects and interior designers to create systems from the ground up that are integrated seamlessly into the design and construction of a space. Some advances Barth is excited about are human-centric, tunable lighting that can change the entire mood of an area and complement our natural circadian rhythms; powerful camera surveillance embedded with artificial intelligence; and the incorporation of Josh AI layered with Chat GPT into voice control operations. “You can actually talk to your house. You can ask questions and get curated responses. This is not Alexa—this is Alexa on steroids,” he says, noting that this technology is completely secure and untrackable, unlike other devices.
