The Downtown Edmond Business Association (DEBA) is the host once again of the 45th annual Downtown Edmond Arts Festival in historic downtown Edmond on May 5, 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The event, which is free to the public, features more than dozens and dozens of artists and hosts live entertainment. Sandy Kay Hunter is the featured artist for this year’s festival. Her beautiful painting “Poppies and Wildflowers,” has been on promotional posters and
billboards. Please note that downtown street closings start Thursday and continue until the close of the event. Other activities during this family-friendly event include face painting and magic and balloon art. If that’s not enough there are the dozens of food vendors and food trucks. Any other questions, please check out last week’s Arts Festival program, which was printed in Edmond Life & Leisure.
