Thanksgiving is a centuries old celebration with President George Washington officially making it in 1789 “as a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God.” However you celebrate Thanksgiving, please make it a great holiday for you and your family.
