This is your opportunity to select your next herd sire, draft of replacement heifers, cornerstone for your cow herd or the next junior show prospect. The Beesons are long time Salers breeders who have done an excellent job of improving this breed and providing just what the customer demands, whether that is another seedstock producer, the commercial cattleman or the individual striving to showcase their genetics at regional and national shows.
The Salers breed was introduced to the United States nearly forty years ago. They were imported to help provide a genetic package that offered calving ease, fertility, longevity and growth with a sound leg structure that can cover realistic amounts of territory. Salers are an excellent answer and the breed and this herd in particular has done its part to continuously improve upon these characteristics. TB Salers has been a leader in the breed’s performance program, evident in the numerous trait leaders on the ASA Sire Evaluation Report that bear the TSB prefix. As you study this year’s offering, I believe that you will see Terry and family have met the challenge of providing stock that can and will help their customers be profitable in the future.
