Last years exhibitors received $1000!!
The board of directors of the Iowa Angus Association voted on October 19th, 2002 to develop a new show that will be held in conjunction with the Summer Preview Show held in Iowa City, Iowa, June 17th, and June 18th, 2017. This show will be for juniors who purchase a heifer at the Winter Beef Expo. Any junior will be eligible to show their heifer at the futurity show if they purchase a heifer that is nominated by the consignor at the Expo. The show will payback 100% of the nomination fees!
The consignor will pay $50 to nominate the heifer or to make her eligible for the futurity show. The nominated heifers will be noted in the footnotes of the heifers and will be announced at the block during the sale.

Her dam is an Earnan daughter out of MAS Peggy 205, a cow we used as a donor that produced the popular Harvestor heifer we had at the 2015 IBE, who sold to Michael Pugh. We purchased the sire of this heifer at the same Expo. We considered Morhfeld Sandhills 429 as the best calving ease and most complete bull in that sale and his first calf crop did not disappoint.
