The goal of the EHS House System is to give each student on campus a place where they are embraced by their fellow House members while building a deeper relationship with their fellow students and to provide opportunities for growth, leadership, and engagement. Each House, named after one of the five Sinsinawa Dominican Values - Truth, Compassion, Justice, Community & Partnership - has an identifiable color, saint, motto and crest. Freshmen and new students are inducted into a House in the fall. Once assigned, students remain in their House for life. Siblings are placed in the same House, creating a lasting legacy that can span generations.

All EHS Freshmen participate in this program. FIT incorporates concepts across the disciplines of Biology, English, U S History, Religion and Guidance FIT establishes the building blocks of critical thinking, analytical reading, and effective writing and communication.
