Back in the Philippines, I often played the violin at weddings with my friends. When I moved to the United States, I continued to receive invitations to sing and play the violin at a few weddings, which helped me feel connected even in a new place.

I have also been part of several choirs, and I sing alto. I love being an alto, and harmonizing with others is something I truly enjoy because there is something special about blending voices together, creating a sound that feels fuller and more meaningful.

Currently, I spend my Saturday afternoons with our church singing band. As part of our music ministry, we go to White Memorial Hospital to play music and sing for patients. Seeing how music brings comfort, smiles, and sometimes even tears of joy moves me deeply and is a powerful reminder of how much music can heal and connect people.
