CHOIR CELEBRATES 50 YEARS WITH CONCERT
One Mural to Rule Them All
A new mural has recently appeared on the gable wall of a prominent business building in Bangor.
Peter Corry and his Band will be the special guests at their Anniversary Concert on Saturday 16 May 2026 in Bangor Elim, Balloo Road, Bangor.
The Lord Of The Rings inspired artwork has been created on the premises of Robinson Goldsmiths. The business owners the Robinson Family told EDA Media. “The Lord of The Rings inspired us, craftsmanship and storytelling sit at the heart of what we do, so collaborating with Bangor artist Jossie Pops felt like a natural fit. The Choir which was established in Bangor in 1976 will take a musical trip down memory lane, visiting the past five decades and performing songs learned under the guidance of past Musical Directors – each very different but each bringing a unique style from the era. Peter was one of the first guest artists with the choir and it was only fitting for the occasion that the Choir invited him to help celebrate their 50th anniversary with them. The artist has also created striking murals recently featuring local icons such as Liam Neeson, Gary Lightbody and Rory McIlroy.
