Belfast Autumn Fair
The Belfast Autumn Fair is a popular annual event that celebrates the beauty and bounty of autumn in the city. It takes place in Belfast’s scenic Botanic Gardens and features a variety of activities for all ages.
A key feature of this year’s edition is the diverse range and number of creative partners involved in the programme, including Belfast 2024, the 175th anniversary of the Belfast School of Art at Ulster University, RNIB, Féile an Phobail, UNESCO City of Music, Eastside Arts and Outburst Arts.
Belfast International Arts Festival
Belfast Lord Mayor Councillor Micky Murray has welcomed Belfast International Arts Festival’s 62nd edition with a bumper five-week programme of events taking place city-wide this autumn, featuring artists from 16 different countries across five continents. The festival returns from October 16 – November 23 with a new season of contemporary arts and culture in over 30 venues across Belfast and features the very best international and homegrown artists
from the worlds of theatre, dance, music, visual arts, literature and film. This year’s programme boasts a truly international line-up of artists from across Europe, North America, South America, Africa and

The Autumn Fair is set to fall on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September. Among the highlights will be the City of Belfast Autumn Flower Show showcasing prize-winning autumnal blooms, bonsai trees and floral art displays. A range of food and craft stalls will be selling local produce, and there will also be lots of fun family activities. Competition: See impressive specimens of giant pumpkins, cabbages, and other vegetables. Food and Craft Stalls: Browse a wide selection of local produce, handmade crafts, and delicious treats.
