Peace: Tranquil, quiet, and secure; Harmony in relations and free of conflict. A peacemaker is one who reconciles, and is peaceable, not quarrelsome, and free from strife or disorder. Christ is the Prince of Peace. To walk in his ways are the way of peace. When you walk with Christ and are obedient to him and the laws of God then you are at one with him and with the Father. You are at peace with him. It is Christ that is our reconciliation that brings us into oneness with the Father. Sin is the separator. Sin is the great act of conflict that caused a wide breach between the children of this earth and our Father in heaven. Christ is the open door. Within his word are all that is good, and all that is peaceable. He taught us how to walk within the law, and in the gospel. If we walk as he walked then we will be at peace as much as possible in the world. Hebrews 12:14, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
