Retreat Speakers Charis Ehrhardt,
originally from Juneau, AK currently serves as the youth pastor for Unalakleet Covenant Church. In 2012 she learned of Covenant Bible Camp through the Anchorage Aarigaa ministry, and after serving at camp, God awoke a deep passion to serve the youth in Alaska and shepherd their walks in Christ. Charis has also served as a CYAK and First Covenant Church youth ministry intern. She has been a speaker at Covenant Bible Camp, served with Merge ministries and has been mentored in Healing Prayer. She has received her Associate of Arts degree at UAA and is currently pursuing her Bachelors at UAF majoring in Alaska Native Studies. Charis enjoys reading, drawing, and photography.
Lucy Coolidge Daniels
is the third of 11 children born to Qakvaralria and Qalutaq (Calvin and Sophie Coolidge). Lucy works in Kenaitze Indian Tribe’s Family Services Division as Tribal Education Coordinator in the Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Program. Lucy was born in the hospital “that burned,” the words her mother always used, in Bethel, Alaska, and lived in Nunapitchuk for the first 11 years of her life and Eek until she became a student at Mt. Edgecumbe High School. Lucy attended Arctic Bible Institute in Palmer after graduating from high school and University of Alaska Fairbanks 4 years after completing Bible School. She served alongside her husband pastoring from 1983-2008 in primarily village churches including Hooper Bay, Unalakleet, and Golovin. Lucy has two grown children, Mike and Josephine. Jerry has retired from the pastorate and stays home to keep the Black Lab-husky mix Kiara in line.
Kristi Ivanoff
answered the call to serve God vocationally in her early 20s after a summer mission trip to Bangkok, Thailand. Shortly thereafter, she married Curtis Ivanoff and they returned to her husband’s home state--Alaska--where she has lived ever since. For the past 19 years, Kristi’s primary ministry has been discipling her three children, supporting her husband in ministry leadership, serving the church locally and statewide, and seeking to be available to God to care for people through listening, prayer and encouragement and hospitality in the daily routine of life. Kristi loves to laugh, make others laugh, tell stories of God’s faithfulness, be with friends, and share the goodness of God and delight of his Word through her life, preaching and service.
Cheryl Siemers
grew up in a small fishing village in rural Maine. She visited Alaska in 1990 to spend a summer with her older sister and immediately fell in love with the state. Soon after she moved to Anchorage and began graduate work at UAA. She has lived primarily in Alaska since then, though further schooling, research, and teaching have taken her across the country and abroad. In 2002 she moved to Soldotna to be involved in the ministry of Alaska Christian College. There she met her husband, Jeff. They now have two children, Ella and Charlotte, and live in Kenai. She works at Kenai Peninsula College as the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs. She is passionate about her relationship with Christ and seeks to grow in His grace daily.

If you would like to donate craft items please bring them with you to the retreat and leave them at the registration table. Arts and Crafts: Everyone will be able to participate in a fun and easy free craft project to take home. In addition, you will have a chance to purchase supplies and instruction on other arts and craft projects. Prices range from $5—$10. Friday Evening: Registration at North Star will open at 5pm, with a potluck dinner beginning at 5:30pm.
