ANCHORED 2025
And that is a wrap for the summer of 2025!
This summer, we had the joy of serving just under 300 campers! Each week, more than 50 dedicated staff members gave their time, energy, and love to make camp possible. We witnessed God at work in incredible ways- through worship, the teaching of His Word, meaningful conversations, and the beauty of His creation. Many lives were transformed by His grace, and countless seeds of faith were planted. Thank you for being part of that story through your prayers, service, and financial support.
One of my favorite moments from this year involves a camper who was struggling behaviorally and came close to being sent home. Through intentional conversations and personal care, he was given a second chance. Later that week, this same camper gave his life to the Lord! Grace extended led to grace received, through the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the impact camp has on the lives of young people. This is why we pour so much energy into making camp happen each year: it’s a place where campers encounter the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
Another beautiful highlight was watching students engage in worship. During Junior High week, they latched onto the song “Praise.” All week long, we’d hear them joyfully singing at the top of their lungs, “I am going to praise the Lord, oh my soul!” Whether we were playing games, doing chores, or getting ready for bed, those spontaneous moments of praise filled camp with joy.
Overall, Bible Camp 2025 was a tremendous success. On behalf of CYAK, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you who helped make this summer possible. Your faithfulness, whether through volunteering, giving, or praying, made a lasting impact on hundreds of lives.
We’re already looking ahead with anticipation to what God will do next summer. We hope you’ll join us again as a vital part of this ministry. Together, we can continue creating opportunities for young people to encounter Christ in meaningful and lasting ways.

A big THANK YOU to the village of Unalakleet for all you do to serve Camp!
It Truly Takes a Village — and What a Village It Is!
This summer’s Bible Camp showed what happens when a whole Village comes together. Families shared moose meat for our meals, a generous friend covered half the cost to ship food upriver, airlines offered reduced fares, and mission pilots flew with care. Native corporations provided scholarships, community members rallied to send youth from their villages, and friends from across Alaska and the Lower 48 gave so young people could know God’s love is for them. Every prayer, every gift, every act of service wove together into a season of camp we’ll never forget.
We’re humbled and so grateful — thank you for being our Village.
Special thanks to Saltchuk, BSNC, American Seafoods Company, Bering Air, Kenai Aviation, and MARC for their extraordinary generosity and care.
