WHAT IS ECCA?
The Edenbridge Community Christmas Association (ECCA) is a community-based association run by volunteers who all live in and around Edenbridge.
We exist to provide the people of Edenbridge with an annual Christmas Fair and festive lighting. We also support the Edenbridge Community and meaningful local causes. Through collaborative events that are guided by compassion and inclusion, we try to deliver positive change, empower local initiatives and inspire hope for a brighter future.
The Christmas Fair at Edenbridge began in 2018 when our founders, who are all certified Christmas fans, felt that Edenbridge was lacking any festive cheer, and not even any Christmas lights in the town.
So just a handful of enthusiastic volunteers got together to raise money in order to bring some Christmas excitement, fun and new lights to Edenbridge town centre for everyone to enjoy!
Since then, the Christmas Fair has grown bigger year on year to involve an unpaid team of over 45 volunteers, and we expect to welcome many thousands of visitors to the High Street in 2025.

A brand new package to support a local charity who cannot a ord a stall - a poster at the stall will state "Sponsored by [Your business]".

In addition to the £1,700 committed spend on lights in 2025, we are proposing to invest a further £7,000 to extend the Christmas lighting beyond the current limits, to now include the northern end of the High Street (near the WI hall).
This will be achieved through growing fundraising activities, extending networks and holding our largest Christmas fair to date.
