Shelving — What to Know

Single-Faced Shelving

• Single-faced units have 10"D, 12"D, or 16"D end panels, fascia, adjustable shelves, and a fixed base shelf. Intended for installation against walls.

• Backs, sold separately, convey a solid look.

Basics

Double-Faced Shelving

• Double-faced units have 20"D or 24"D end panels and fascia, with adjustable shelves and fixed base shelves on each side. Intended for freestanding applications.

• Optional partition panels sold separately.

End Panels

• 1"-thick hardwood veneer plywood construction.

• All pieces are wood; cross-banded for strength and durability

• Can be used with steel shelving for an appealing look

Starters include two finished end panels, with connecting holes on the inside only. Starters can be standalone units.

Adders include only one upright panel, with connecting holes on both sides. Adders must connect to a Starter.

Note: Backs and Partitions are sold separately. Backs are used with single-sided shelving; Partitions are used with double-sided shelving.

ORDERING

• For a single bookshelf, order a single Starter to use by itself.

• For a row of shelving, order one Starter and as many Adders as needed to complete your desired row length.
