The 5th Annual South Dakota Simmental Source Sale took place on December 19, 2015 at Mitchell Livestock Auction in Mitchell, SD. Though this is the 5th Annual Sale, this was the first year for the banquet, meeting and sale to be held in Mitchell, SD. The location was a success as there was a large crowd at the banquet and meeting on Friday evening. Terrific fellowship, the annual meeting, awards presentation and Junior fundraiser auction made it a fun evening. On Saturday, it was a beautiful day for a sale and there was another large crowd of cattle enthusiasts on hand for this year’s event. The breeders on this year’s sale offered a tremendous set of cattle and genetics. The sale host South Dakota Simmental Association would like to thank the bidders and buyers at this year’s successful sale. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
