The 37th annual Hawkeye Simmental Sale was held on a 74 degree day on Nov. 1 at the Bloomfield Livestock Market, Bloomfield, Iowa. With the clocks rolling back, bright sunshine with warm temps, the overflowing crowd came early to enjoy a compliment lunch and visit with the Hawkeye breeders while evaluating a super deep set of sale cattle. Many comments from the buying crowd were that this could be one of the nicest set of Simmental genetics offered by the group to date.
