This has been a hard decision to make since we have been raising Simmental cattle since 1974 with our first introduction to the breed through A.I. From there, all four of our children showed Simmental cattle in 4-H, county fairs, state fairs and a few were shown at the national shows. We feel the time has come to slow down and enjoy life. We feel we have put together a very impressive set of females through a lifetime of strict culling for the right kind – the kind that will work for the commercial man as well as the purebred seed stock producers. Our females have produced through the years: 3 Denver National Champion Bulls, 2 top selling females at the NWSS “The One” Sale and the at time high selling bull WS Revival, who has produced 2 National Champion Females so far.
Cow families are very important to us and we feel we have been very lucky to own some of the most elite donors of the breed. Ebony’s Joy (that we own with our partners) has been and is the #1 Simmental female in the breed. We have kept nearly all of her females over the years and we feel they are some of the best ever. We have nearly 15 females out of her and 10 granddaughters in the herd. You will also be able to buy her embryos by many different matings and they will be good. Other top donors we have owned are 84G, selling many top herd bulls and females from her, matings will also be on this sale. Other top donors are Black Abbey, 90Z, Red Jessie, Double R Kashmere T8, 47C, U38 the dam of Step Up, and N42 the dam of WS Revival, will also have embryo matings on the sale. The females are right for the times. They are moderate, easy keeping and still have the look of a show animal. We have an excellent set of heifer and bull calves that you will be able to choose from. There will be many top prospects from show heifers to top herd bulls. We have put many of our own bulls we raised and sold, such as WS Revival, WS A Step Up, WS Stepping Stone, WS Jackson, and WS Equalizer are in bull studs and have sold a lot of semen. I would like to thank all of our customers who have had faith in our program and supported our program year after year. We can’t thank you enough. A herd bull of this caliber doesn’t come along very often, we were just fortunate enough to have purchased Franchise. His sire group of calves come to the top very fast, the bull calves are powerful built, deep, thick, and fancy with a great EPD profile. From the ground up, he sires excellent feet and leg structure without adding frame. He had Triangle J’s top scanning group of bulls and Franchise also had the top selling bull and female for Triangle J’s Ranch Sale.
