We welcome you to our 9th annual production sale “The Gathering at Shoal Creek.” We hope to see old friends and make new ones on the weekend of April the 4th as we present our best at our Big Sale Event! While the cattle are the focus of our industry, it is the people and the relationships formed that are at its heart. We would like to thank all of our past customers for their belief in our program, as well as our guest breeders Vestlane Farms and RS&T Simmentals for joining us for the Gathering. Every year we strive to assemble a set of cattle and genetics that appeal to producers on many different levels. Whether you are looking for unique breeding pieces, quality replacements, proven cows, your next herd sire, or elite frozen genetics we believe you can find an opportunity for success in this offering. We have always believed in the value of cow families and the standout lots stem from the donors that we are building around. SC Robins Kiss D27 makes her Gathering sale debut in a big way this year! She brings two incredible fall heifer calves by W/C Executive Order and a two year old full sister nursing her heifer calf by Innovator. The Knockout Y030 donor continues to make the great ones with two awesome fall heifers by Exclusive, and two standout pairs nursing March calves. Our SC Daisy Duke C1 cow brings two super complete Executive Order heifer calves and a stout set of fall bulls to The Gathering. Other special features this year include SC Hard to Believe C16, the full sister to the dominant champion SC Pay the Price and the $41,000 SC Beyond Belief C21. To top it off she is bred to the $180,000 sensation W/C Fort Knox. Other special lots featuring the influence of Fort Knox are the sexed heifer embryos out of SC Robins Kiss D27 and SC Ruby A9 that will sell with her March Fort Knox calf at side. Another added attraction with a bit more color in sale pens this year are three purebred Red Angus bred heifers as well as four Red Angus fall bulls to complement the stout set of fall Simmental bulls with all the work on them done. All the bulls have been genomic tested, passed their semen tests, come to you in an age advantaged package, and are ready to go to work. The mating of Executive Order definitely clicked on SC Robins Kiss D27 with three standouts from that combination in The Gathering this year. I have the same high hopes for the mating to W/C Fort Knox. He was the $180,000 record setting bull of the 2019 Werning sale sired by W/C Bankroll out of a daughter of W/C Executive Order. We really couldn’t be any more pleased with the Pay The Price calves. This March heifer out of the Limestone Lola donor is perhaps the highest quality female we have raised out of her.
