Welcome Everyone! On behalf of Cason’s Pride & Joy Simmentals, we would like to extend a warm welcome to our Annual Production Bull Sale. It has been a pleasure to serve and work with so many great cattlemen to supply them with the genetics needed to be a profitable operation in this ever-changing cattle industry. Again, we want to say thank you to all our past customers for their support and confidence in our breeding program. We are excited about the genetic offerings we have for this sale. As always, our goal is to produce genetics that will give you, the commercial producer, the potential to increase the profitability of your operation. We believe the genetic offering in this sale will give you that opportunity. As we evaluate the bulls offered in this sale, I can honestly say this is the best set of bulls we have ever offered. They are all high quality, sound made and backed by years of performance selection being front and center of our operation. The bulls offered in this sale are the result of planned matings with the needs of the commercial cattleman in mind. The genetic makeup of these bulls is not by accident. These planned matings were designed that we might be able to offer our customers superior genetic packages that suit their needs. There are some differences in each of the bulls from frame size, type and EPDs, so that you can select the traits and type of bull that fits your program. If you have an interest in any of the offerings in this sale, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would love to visit with you about your needs and expectations. The more we know what your goals are, the better job we can do in recommending the right genetics for your operation. Visitors are welcome to the farm any time prior to the sale to view the bulls. It is important to us that we to get to know our customers to better serve you. We take pride in the developing of our bulls knowing that this process can have a lasting effect on the longevity of a bull. Our objective is to feed a quality roughage-based ration to allow these young bulls to reach their genetic potential. Bunk management is essential to developing cattle to avoid long term problems. We will again offer to bring the bulls back to the farm after the sale to finish developing the bulls. We will keep them until May 1st at no charge. But we do ask that you consider insuring your bulls. We will have a Livestock Insurance agent available on sale day. Denny and Landon are very disciplined breeders to focus on growth with calving ease yet still very dedicated to the genetic profile. After viewing the bulls on January 27th, I can honestly say that this is the best offering through and through that the Cason firm has produced. There are individuals in this year’s offering that are very intriguing and will be true breeding pieces to take your breeding program to the next level. There are also bulls that are true calving ease for your option for heifer bulls. Review this offering and study your lesson.
