We would like to take this opportunity to invite all cattlemen and women to our 38th annul Blue River Gang production sale. It seems like not all that long ago we were writing this same welcome letter for lasts years sale. All of us consignors again can agree that we feel this is the best set of cattle we have offered to date. Our goal is to make real world cattle that are efficient and functional and at the end of the day make our customers satisfied and profitable. We feel that there is something for just about all operations in this set and welcome you any time to evaluate the stock. We could not do what we love and offer this set of cattle if it were not for our loyal customer base, so thank you! Please do not hesitate to call any of us consignors with questions on the cattle, we are always happy to talk cattle. Thank you for your interest in our sale, we look forward to seeing you, both customers new and old on sale day! Every year, our open heifers sold on the sale are eligible for a futurity show held mid-summer at the Ruth Farm following the sale. With $1500 of total winnings over 9 places this is a very worthwhile event. The winnings can then be redeemed at the following year’s sale as credit. The futurity is not limited to just 4-H and FFA members. It is open to anybody purchasing heifers at our sale. We hope everyone can attend the 38th annual Blue River Gang Sale. We wanted to start offering some strong aged bulls to our customers so they could go out and cover more cows right out the gate. We are more than pleased with how these fall bulls turned out and hope you think the same. Executive Order cattle are quite popular, and for good reason. They are real world cattle that offer a lot of performance and eye appeal. The mating to our 83W donor sure did not disappoint. These brothers are some of the stoutest bulls we have ever offered. We would recommend these bulls to be used on heifers but with as much performance as they offer, they naturally will put pounds on calves. F18 is the thicker of the two brothers had a BW of 81 and a WW of 804. F17 came out at 76 pounds and WW 734. Look these brothers up sale day, they are pretty hard to poke a hole in.

These three brothers are out of our 83W donor who has had sale toppers for us in the bull, open, and bred heifer divisions the past six years. The mating to Cowboy Cut has been great for us as we have retained three full sisters (that we think very highly of) as replacements. Offered four full sib brothers on last year’s sale which were sale toppers for us, and offered a full sister in last year’s sale and one this year in Lot 3. These brothers give you a lot of versatility when it comes to breeding time, whether you are aiming to raise seedstock, keep replacements or put pounds on cattle these bulls can get it done. These bulls are easy to pick out of the pen and will be easy to find on sale day. On paper they excel in both maternal and terminal traits being in the top 30% for CE top 20% for MCE top 15% for Wean and top 25% for TI. They are similar in their designs offering a lot of performance and are all structurally sound. F2, is a stout powerful two-year-old that is trich and semen tested and ready to cover a large group of cows. F11, is a strong aged Fall bull that had a Adj. WW of 855 and is again very powerful in his design yet offers a lot of style and eye appeal. G24 is a yearling bull that offers the most middle out of the three and is very stout and does very well on all fours.
