Here is a opportunity that doesn’t come along everyday... purchasing the Grand Champion PB Cow/Calf Pair at the 2018 AJSA Classic! It was very hard for my family to decide whether to offer this pair but when we looked at what she has done for us, it was easier to let her go. Knowing she has produced a couple of daughters that are working extremely well for us and with her Cowboy Cut daughter from 2017 being our top bred, we are comfortable enough to let her go. When you look at this cow, you love everything about her. In fact, many great cattlemen like John Christenson and Matt Copeland stated that I don’t think I would change a thing about her. As she is just entering her prime, breed or flush her anyway you would like. I know she will work! Here are a pair of flushmates out of ES Tess. Tess is making a big splash in her young donor career. She has sold flushes and embryos to some progressive cattlemen and the reports have been very positive. In fact, lot 3 is a result of an embryo purchase from the SD Simmental Source Sale a couple years ago. Glen Kummer saw the potential in this mating and had to have those embryos. He is keeping the bull calf as a herd bull and the other heifer as a top replacement female. These two are great in their structure and flawless in their design. We were very proud to exhibit the Champion Ppen of Commercial Heifers at the 2018 Black Hills Stock Show and a few of these heifers were a part of that win. The AI bred heifers are carrying the service of the very popular CCR Boulder bull with ABS. Our first crop of calves sired by him were light at birth and heavy at weaning. What more could you ask for? We liked them so much, we bought a light birth weight 1/2 blood son (4420D) off the Cow Camp Ranch Bull Sale this past spring and used him to clean up our heifers.
