Come as you are and join a
PEER SUPPORT GROUP:
WRAP
Whole Recovery Action Plan The group starts October 1st. We meet every Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Hybrid format, so you can attend either in-person at the Pontiac office (1685 Baldwin Ave Suite 100, Pontiac, MI 48340), or virtually.
Join us weekly for a peer-led support group where you learn to create a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), a simple and powerful process for creating the life and wellness you want. The WRAP process supports you to identify the tools that keep you well and create action plans to put them into practice in your everyday life.
Objectives: Learn about the five key concepts of WRAP of hope, personal responsibility, education, self-advocacy, and support to enhance the quality of your life Discover simple, safe, and effective tools to create and maintain wellness Develop a daily plan to stay on track with your life and wellness goals Identify what throws you off track and develop a plan to keep moving forward Feel empowered in making decisions about your life Build a strong support network of people and resources to help you reach your goals
This group is for individuals served at the Pontiac and Walled lake locations.
If you are interested in attending this group, please talk to your case manager or support coordinator.
“My goal was to have a plan to get well and stay well,” Jared G, a past participant said. “What I liked about WRAP was the relaxed atmosphere and great information. I always looked forward to the next WRAP meeting.”
