Several individuals in the IPS program successfully balance both employment and educational goals, and Jo Lisa is a prime example of this achievement. She worked closely with her employment specialist to secure a parttime job, which provides her with the flexibility to enroll in several remote classes. Jo Lisa is currently pursuing an associate degree in social work and plans to continue her education into advances degrees. Additionally, she actively participates in IPS follow-along services to continue growing her skillset.
Brooke's experience in the IPS program was incredibly positive. Since securing a job, she has maintained ongoing contact with her employment specialist even, knowing that the support is always available should she wish to return to the program. Throughout her time in IPS, Brooke honed valuable skills in job application, cover letter crafting, and interview techniques.
During her time in the IPS program, Samantha successfully transitioned from part-time retail work to a fulltime position at a hospital, achieving the financial security she had been seeking. She actively explores her growth potential at the hospital and expressed excitement about continuing to cultivate her skills. Samantha has built a strong rapport with her employment specialist and continues to meet with her regularly for follow-along services, even after securing her job. She takes great pride in her accomplishments, and her success has laid the foundation for her optimistic outlook on the future.
