SUBSTANCE ABUSE SUPPORT GROUP Do you have a child struggling with substance use? If so, come find support within your community. Teenagers in Michigan are 6.95% more likely to have used drugs in the last month than the average American teen. 8.91% (67,000) of 12-17-year olds report using drugs in the last month. Among them, 83.58% report using marijuana in the last month. 13.43% of all 12 to 17-year-olds report using marijuana in the last year. 9.17% of all 12 to 17-year-olds used alcohol in the last month.
What can I expect by attending? Parents and/or caregivers attending will: gain a support network of caregivers/parents facing the same struggles. have a non-judgmental environment to discuss issues encountered.
