Hess-Hathaway Park 825 S. Williams Lake Rd. Waterford Twp., MI 48327 The All-Kids Playground was added to Hess-Hathaway Park in 2002 and is accessible for all abilities. The play area is fenced in with a level rubber-like ground. The park is also very close to a nearby petting farm that has turkeys, horses, cows, and rabbits. The park is free to explore, bathrooms are available and open 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week. For more information, click HERE.
River Bends Park 5700 22 Mile Rd. Shelby Township, MI 48316
Open from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM daily, River Bends Park is a barrier-free playground with all kids in mind. The rubberized surface allows for better accessibility to wheelchairs and walkers while providing a safe area for all ages to play. To learn more, click HERE
Gallup Park - Rotary Centennial Universal Access Playground 300 Fuller Rd. Ann Arbor, MI 48105 Gallup Park is a 69-acre park home to the Rotary Centennial Universal Access Playground. In the play area, different regions allow individuals of all abilities to explore and play in. It has adaptive swings, a water/sand area, sensory garden, even surfaces, ramps, mobility devices, inclusive play features and some signage in braille.
