Only 1 in 5 students who express a mental health need are connected to services. Families are 10x more likely to connect behavioral health services if they are easily accessible, such as a co-location within a school.

WHAT ARE SCHOOL-BASED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES? School-Based therapists are master’s level clinicians who are credentialed to provide services based on their degree in counseling, psychology or social work. These individuals partner with families and school personnel to create behavioral health plans to meet the needs of the student being served.

EASTERSEALS MORC OFFERS: Individual, family and group therapy utilizing evidence-based interventions. Specialized training and support services for parents and teachers Linkage to community resources

We receive referrals from teachers, school-based counselors, principals, parents, and providers. Students may also self-refer to services.
