What i s MRT and how can thi s group hel p?
MRT is a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) that promotes moral reasoning, better decision-making, and more appropriate behavior. The word “reconation” involves how we make our decisions. The MRT group for boys will assist in helping young men make decisions based on doing what is right.
What shoul d parti ci pants expect?
Active participation in a respectful environment, including presenting on MRT step criteria. Confrontation and reflection through examining their negative beliefs, attitudes and behaviors. To enhance their understanding of right and wrong. Goal setting with focus on positive identity formation. Participants will earn a certificate of completion once they’ve successfully completed all 12 steps.

The MRT group for boys is designed for teen boys ages 13-17 who are looking to make better decisions.
When and where wi l l thi s group take pl ace?
The group will be held virtually via Microsoft TEAMs on Mondays, from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.
