BE THE GOOD BULLETIN The Cheers Gala On December 6th, we said cheers to Celebrating Innovation at our annual Cheers Gala! The event took place at the beautiful M1 Concourse Event Center where we welcomed roughly 350 guests and volunteers. Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful donors, sponsors, and partners, we exceeded our fundraising goal and raised over $263,000 for programs, services, and supports for individuals with disabilities and their families! Guests enjoyed a wonderful silent auction, a delicious strolling dinner and desserts prepared by Kristina's Catering, struck a pose in the photo booth, played casino style games for prizes, and oohed and aahed at a drone show! During the evening, we presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to the family of Nancy Sinelli, former Self-Direction Administrator, for her lifetime of service, dedication, and commitment to individuals with disabilities. We held a moment of giving to raise funds for our new, state of the art Autism Comprehensive Care Center that we are building in Waterford. This new Center will offer a one-stop shop of services, while utilizing a groundbreaking care model that will not only address the needs of individuals with autism, but their family members as well. During the moment of giving, we raised over $50,000 for this new Center!
