FINDING PEACE Finding Peace is a safe and accepting space for teens, ages 13-17, looking to have healthier relationships and interactions at home and in daily life.
Who is Finding Peace for? Finding Peace is a group for teens, ages 13-17, currently on diversion, standard, or intensive probation. The group is a safe and welcoming environment for teens, following an act of aggression toward a member of their household with a desire for early intervention in breaking the cycle of violence.
Group participants can expect to: Have a safe space to identify difficulty interacting in a healthy way. Learn what violence is, the impact of violence, and how the cycle can be broken. Increase ability to understand meaning of behaviors. Identify personal strategies for peace. Gain an understanding of the cycle of violence. Healthy strategies to engage with others peacefully.
